The Holy Family Catholic Community started in the fall of 1984 as a new parish to serve the Northwest suburbs. The first Mass was celebrated on December 1, 1984, in the cafeteria at Fremd High School while work began on a permanent home for our community, which was dedicated on April 30, 1988.
