What is your most memorable wedding?
My most memorable wedding, would probably be my first. Whilst my skills and equipment have improved since then, it was actually my sisters wedding that I got to film, so it was super special and will always be one of my favourites.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Natural, Romantic, Cinematic, Professional, Unobtrusive
What about your business are you most proud of?
My customer service, I pride myself on always be there for my couples when they need me, and aim to get to know them as much as I can to ensure I can capture their true love and personality on their special day.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
It can be easier than it sounds, but try to enjoy your time being engaged, as it only comes around once. Try to slowly make a list of all the main things you have in your head, get those booked up and then you can start to think of any extra's you may need. Talk to you wedding suppliers, they will always be happy to help, and failing that, having a wedding planner is wonderful.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I love it when the couple add a little personal touch to their outfit. One bride had a little piece of her mums wedding dress sewn into the lining of her dress, whilst one groom had a pocket charm with photos of his nan and grandad who sadly couldn't make it to the wedding.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I always love to meet with my couples before they make their decision, so always drop me an email or message on social media. I like to have a FaceTime or Zoom call with couples, it gives us a chance to get to know each other, the couple to ask me any questions or concerns and me to run them through everything they need to know, rather than just via email. Once we've agreed that we're a good match, I'll send over a contract & invoice for deposit payment to secure your booking. After that, I'm always here for you along the journey to your wedding day and love hearing updates and information about your day!
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
A few exciting things I've caught on camera would be couples reading personalised wedding vows, creating a custom first dance, having their dogs at their wedding. Anything that makes the day personal to you guys is lovely for me to capture.
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
I don't have one favourite soundtrack, I always wait until I'm in the editing process to choose music, as I like to get the real feel of the day on my editing screen and match that emotion in the music I choose.
Describe how you got into videography.
I originally started photography with my dad as a teenager, but quickly realised my passion and skill lied in videography rather than photography. Ever since then I love working as a videographer in the wedding industry.
