What is your most memorable wedding?
I had the privilege of flying out to Turks & Caicos to shoot a wedding there for an American couple. Doing what you love, in paradise!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Bespoke, Cinematic, Unique, Elegant, Fun.
What about your business are you most proud of?
I am at my proudest when I deliver the work I have done for the couple and get their reactions.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Try and try to leave some budget for a videographer. It's a once in a lifetime event and there is no better way to encapsulate that day than through a wedding film.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A couple had made rhubarb gin as wedding favours from their Grandma's garden who had sadly passed away. A wonderful touch.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We would introduce ourselves over a scheduled video call. Very casual and just allows us to run over some basics.
Nearer to the date, once you have most of the information for the wedding day, I will send over a form for you to complete, allowing me to know everything I need to on the day.
Then comes the shooting of the wedding day and then onto where the magic happens in the edit room.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
I was solo wild camping in Scotland and on the second morning I woke up at 6am to the loch as still as glass, and reflecting, was the most incredible pink sky.
(Sorry, I know that wasn't wedding based!)
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
There isn't a specific soundtrack. I use all my backing tracks from MusicBed and they have a superb selection, so there is always something new to choose depending on the style of the wedding.
Describe how you got into videography.
I began by filming my wild camping trips, as well as creating online web content for brands on the side. The branded content took off and then after covid, I was recommended to film a couple of weddings. I fell in love with the filming and editing process of weddings as each and every one of them is different. From there, it has just taken off and now I primarily only shoot weddings!
