What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm very proud of my work. However the feedback I value the most is that I was hardly noticed on the day. I view my role as capturing the day in as unobtrusive manner as possible.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Hire Base Aura Films :)
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I filmed a wedding at Milton Hall this year where the Bride and Groom had already secretly eloped prior to the day, which was really nice. I would say just remembering that it is your wedding day with no rules or set expectations to be adhered to.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I'd usually have a pre-consultation phone call with the couple to answer any questions. If you'd like to book I'll then send out a booking confirmation form.
We can then communicate at any time you have questions leading up to the date. A few weeks prior I'll be in touch to confirm timings and then I'll see you on the day :)
A few days after the event I'll be in touch to confirm your music choices prior to the edit of your films.
What is the most exciting thing you have caught on camera?
I film lots of high profile events. I enjoyed filming Jordan Pickford's 30th Birthday this year.
What is the one film you wish you had directed and why?
N/A
What is your favourite soundtrack to put to a wedding video?
Music is the choice of you as a couple and very personal to you. Therefore any music that makes you smile (or cry) when watching back your day.
Describe how you got into videography.
I've always had an intrinsic interest in technology. I probably started an interest in filming when picking up. a camera to capture my own children at parties etc. This just developed when asked to produce promos for the venues that they were having parties at :) It moved on from there to weddings where I found my passion.
