Describe the best wedding that happened at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa?
We had an exclusive use wedding take place a couple of years ago, who went all out with their venue styling, they had flowers everywhere around the hotel, including outside on the pillars, on the bannisters and staircase. They had different entertainment and surprises for their guests throughout the day, including singing waiters and they really made sure that everyone had a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable time. They clearly put a lot of thought and effort into their planning and really stamped their personality on the day.

Where’s the best photo spot at Wood Hall Hotel & Spa?
Either at the side of the venue, with the Ivy forming a natural flower wall backdrop- this is particularly pretty in Autumn as the colour changes from green to cherry red.
Or, often the photographer will take the couple for a short drive along our road and take pictures of them walking along with the backdrop of Wood Hall in the background.

We regard all of our wedding couples as celebrities... however we did host a famous England cricketer a few years ago!

It would have to be mini Yorkshire pudding with roast beef & onion - yum!
What’s your favourite midnight treat?
Bacon rolls are an absolute must at Midnight, they are so well received by guests after a long night of dancing and celebrating!
What is Wood Hall Hotel & Spa most unique feature?
We would have to say our setting – we are very lucky to be set on top of the Wharfe Valley with stunning views and 101 acres of land, which means that nowhere is out of bounds when it comes to photographs.
We also benefit from having bedrooms at the hotel some of which are feature bedrooms with sleigh beds and four posters, something a lot of other local venues cannot offer.
What part of your business are you most proud of?
We are proud that we have the accolade of winning ‘Wedding Co-ordinator of the Year in 2014 for Yorkshire & also Wedding Venue of the Year for Yorkshire in 2017 & 2018’ at the prestigious North of England wedding awards.
