Thetford Farm Barn is a beautifully unique Barn venue set in the rich rural landscape of Lincolnshire. Perfectly private, luxurious and spacious, the newly renovated Barns reflect the natural beauty of their stunning surroundings. The exposed red brickwork and original features create the perfect backdrop on which you can create the wedding of your dreams. The original 200-year-old barn has been transformed into a stunning Ceremony Hall with double height ceilings and 20m long aisle providing space for both intimate and larger scale occasions. Designed with you in mind, The Dressing Room and The Hayloft provide the perfect spaces for you to take time to prepare. The Dining Room, with floor to ceiling windows leading directly out to the private courtyard garden, is perfect for relaxed outdoor dining, and with the addition of our bespoke marquees, it can accommodate up to 400+ guests under cover. Complete with a Bar area, hidden under The Hayloft and The Dining Room Bar we can ensure that your glasses are always kept topped up. Choosing from our selected suppliers for both your food and drinks will be effortless, as we've personally tried and tested them to ensure you will have the only the very best for your day.

Prices vary depending on day of the week and month you plan to get married. All weddings at Thetford Farm Barn include: A day to set up, a day for your event and an additional half day to clear down. Exclusive use of our private venue – barns, courtyards and preparation suites. Our stunning Ceremony Hall, able to accommodate up to 200 guests. The Dining Room, affectionately called ‘The Piggery’ with seating for up to 180 guests. Our evening reception with space for 400+ guests. The Dressing Room, our gorgeous boutique area and changing room. The Hayloft, with 3/4 size snooker table – perfect for photographs, speeches, or that bouquet throwing moment! Full use of our catering kitchen and The White Horse Bar, fully stocked and staffed. Full PA system throughout. Beautifully designed cloakrooms and accessible suite with baby changing. Car park for 120 guests’ cars, taxis and coaches. Accommodation included from 2026.

Great venue. Beautiful memories

Our wedding reception was held at Thetford Farm Estate in the Barn, now known as Thetford Farm Barn, located in Lincolnshire. It was a fantastic venue for our wedding, with beautiful gardens and a stunning building to bring our friends and families all together to celebrate with us. We could not have picked a better location for our special day. Thank you to all the staff who made us feel welcome and special from the moment we viewed the venue to the end of our perfect day. Nothing was too much trouble for the team. We are over the moon to hear that the Barn is in the process of being renovated and we would love to go back and see it. Who knows, we may book to renew our vows!

With Kilts flying and braziers burning, and a bride who mixed red wellies with her wedding dress, it has to be Jo and Steve! Hot on their heels would have to be Will and Becky, Mr & Mrs Lovely (yes that is their real name) who arrived from the church in Will’s pride and joy, his red tractor. Polished to perfection! The ultimate in authenticity. Lovely!

Be authentic and always stay true to themselves. That way, their wedding with be as unique and magical as they are.

What’s your favourite personal touch you’ve seen at a wedding?

Going to have to say that we love a photo booth. There is nothing better than seeing picture of friends and family enjoying the day. Every photo capturing a personal moment in time, that can spark memories that will last a lifetime.

This is a tricky one to answer as there are so many. The long shot of the 20-meter aisle in our Ceremony Hall, the birds eye view from The Hayloft, our Enclosed Courtyard, Wildflower Meadow, or a backdrop of golden summer wheat. Our best photo spot is wherever our couple want it to be!

What’s your favourite canapé?

Naturally, as a Lincolnshire farmer it has to be honey & mustard glazed Lincolnshire sausages! However, my personal favourites are always smoked salmon blinis with soured cream & caviar. Old school elegance on a mini pancake, the definition of the perfect canape! And if you want to go for a retro vibe, it has to be a Vol au Vent!
