The cost of the venue hire is dependant on how many nights you would like to stay, whether your wedding is midweek or full weekend, and whether your wedding is during peak/off-peak season. At Rowallan Castle, our award winning chefs craft exquisite seasonal dishes using the finest locally sourced ingredients to impress your guests, accompanied by fine selection of wine. Whether you prefer a traditional Scottish menu or a modern twist, our kitchen team is available to bring your vision to life. We breakdown each element of the catering to allow each couple to tailor their wedding exactly to their preference, the below can be amended or upgraded dependant on your preferences. Our catering package includes: Wedding Breakfast: 3 course meal with 2 choice menu. Drinks Package: welcome reception glass of prosecco/beer, half a bottle of wine during the meal, a glass of prosecco for the toast. Canapes: 5 canapes per person during reception. Evening buffet: hot filled rolls with tea & coffee.

My husband and I got married at Rowallan Castle in June 2025 and it was everything we hoped it would be. First of all, the venue is STUNNING. The photos of the castle are beautiful but don’t even do it justice until you see it with your own eyes. The castle is set in such beautiful grounds and provides such a scenic backdrop in photos. There are lots of beautiful spots in and around the grounds for photo opportunities, even a second castle! We were very lucky that we got a beautiful sunny day, but I think despite what the weather does, this venue will provide the most beautiful setting for a wedding. The interior of the castle is just as beautiful, and really has that traditional, Scottish castle vibe to it which we loved. We also loved that as you’re hiring out the entire castle for the wedding, this meant your wedding was a completely private function for you and your wedding guests. In a lot of other wedding venues, like hotels, there can be other people/hotel guests hanging around and ogling at the wedding, which wasn’t the case at Rowallan. The team at Rowallan were incredible from start to finish - particular credit goes to Katy and Louise who were amazing on the run up to and on the big day and kept everything running smoothly. They would check in with me and my husband occasionally throughout the day to make sure we were happy and ask if we needed anything. The food was delicious and we had many comments from guests on how great everything was. There was ample space in the evening for an amazing party, and the rooms/suites were not only big and absolutely breathtaking, but provided a very comfortable sleep after all the excitement. Rowallan Castle provided everything we were looking for in a venue and more, and we are so glad we booked to have our wedding here. It was truly the wedding of our dreams and we only wish we could do it all over again! We highly recommend anyone considering booking Rowallan Castle for their wedding to go for it, as nowhere else compares. The wedding of our dreams! The wedding of our dreams!
We are so happy we chose Rowallan Castle for our wedding on 4th October 2025! From the moment we drove into the grounds, we knew that we had found the place! The castle is stunning with beautiful bedrooms to get ready and to accommodate a few close family and friends, which was perfect for us for the Brazilian side of the family. We also rented the old castle for extra rooms and we are so glad we did as it’s so unique- when else can you stay in a 12th century castle! Our wedding coordinator Katy provided excellent organisation throughout our wedding weekend- we cannot thank her enough for making sure our guests arrived safely back to the castle during the storm! The staff were also excellent and meals were served with perfect timing between meals! And the food itself is fantastic! The main castle also has many different sizes of rooms for the ceremony to take place so is ideal if you’re not too sure on guest numbers yet. We just had so much fun on our wedding day and couldn’t have asked for a better venue! We will always remember our day and we will definitely be visiting the Glasshouse restaurant and the golf course in the future! 100% recommend Rowallan for your wedding! Our wedding weekend at Rowallan Castle was perfect in every way. The meal on the Friday night was a lovely start to our weekend, a nice calm relaxed night before the big day. The wedding was perfect in every way, Katy was on hand to help with everything we needed and nothing to much for her and her team to help. The food was exquisite, we really have no faults of anyone or anything at Rowallan. If you are considering this venue for your wedding we suggest you book your date as you will be well taken care off from start to finish. We wish we could relive our wedding every year at Rowallan Our wedding weekend at Rowallan Castle was perfect in every way. Rowallan castle is a dream venue for any wedding. The main castle and surrounding estate provide the most picturesque backdrop for your big day and the facilities available make it all the more special. After a round of golf at the challenging but brilliant Rowallan Castle golf club the day before for the groomsmen, we rented out the old castle to host dinner and drinks for the wedding party. Would definitely recommend this and I’m sure we’ll be back to celebrate our anniversaries in the future. Our wedding day itself ran like clockwork with staff always at hand to help with any last minute requests. The staff were also incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process. With the venue providing all of the bar and catering facilities there was really very little for us to do on the day other than enjoy ourselves.Rowallan castle is a dream venue for any wedding. From start to finish, they worked with us on every idea we had and added their own advice and experience so that we always felt like the day was in super safe hands. Everyone loved staying over in the rooms within the main castle, the whole experience is just unreal. The bridal suite in particular is absolutely gorgeous. Finally, the food is ridiculously good, and there are so many options to choose from, and a seasonal menu which is fantastic. Katy made sure our day ran smoothly, and was there for every question we asked! We honestly couldn’t recommend this venue any more, and we had the best day of our lives! Everything was just perfect: our vision was perfectly executed and nothing was too much trouble for Katy and the Rowallan Team! The ceremony was laid out exactly as we had asked, the day ran perfectly smoothly, the cocktails and food were incredible, the fireworks were perfectly liaised with the supplier without any time being spent on it by us, the rooms were ideal for a great night sleep, and we did not feel rushed to leave at all the next day. All of this gave us the fairy tale wedding we had dreamed of! The Rowallan team went above and beyond; they even accommodated a number of Bulgarian traditions (the country of origin of the bride), including accommodating traditional drinks to be provided to the guests. We have continued our special relationship with Rowallan since getting married, returning to have dinner at the Glasshouse on our anniversary every year.Everything was just perfect: our vision was perfectly executed and nothing was too much trouble for Katy and the Rowallan Team!
