Coggeshall Village Hall

The building has a large bright Main Hall, with capacity to seat 120 people, with 150 standing, along with a smaller, more intimate Hall, which seats 56 people or a standing capacity of 70. The large kitchen has an double oven, fridge and kettles, with plenty of space, for either your own use or for outside caterers to come in. It is also possible to have catering vans outside. The kitchen has a serving hatch through to a small bistro/serving area which can be set up as a bar, and the Hall is fully licensed for alcohol consumption and sales. Either Hall can be hired on its own, with the kitchen, or the whole building can be hired to enable exclusive use. Some receptions have used the smaller hall as a games area for children (and adults alike) for the evening part, or as an extension to the party. There is also a small Committee Room which can be used for children's games/quiet area, or somewhere to store your belongings during the hire. The event can run until 11pm, but can be hired until 11.30pm to tidy and pack away, or you can hire the halls for a couple of hours the following day to return for this, as long as it is not booked out.
