Bluemoon Wedding Cars Full Description
Your wedding day is one of the most important days in your life, and Russell and his team will ensure that your travel arrangements are taken care of in a totally professional and reliable way. There are several cars in the Bluemoon stable, with the Classic Midnight Blue Rolls Royce Silver Spirit being the premier car in the fleet. This beautiful classic car was born in 1985, and has been loved and nurtured ever since. The paintwork is a deep rich metallic midnight blue which is complimented by the walnut interior and chrome trim. The car has cream leather seating with blue piping. The carpet and footstools are in midnight blue lambswool, and the pile is soft, deep and luxurious. This car oozes charm and elegance. The Rolls has plenty of room for up to four members of the bridal party. Brides love this car as it’s the perfect backdrop for their wedding dress. It even has interior side vanity mirrors for a last minute make-up check. And of course the car wouldn’t be complete without its beautiful Flying Lady “The Spirit of Ecstasy”. Our luxury Mercedes ‘S’ Class long wheelbase comes with all the quality Mercedes refinements you’d expect including Air Conditioning with Rear Seat Vent Controls, CD System, Satellite Navigation, Soft Black Leather seating and Burr Walnut panelling. With coachwork in light Silver this is an ideal car for wedding hire and honeymoon departures, especially for those longer journeys where space and comfort is required. Russell is a multi award winning chauffeur because of his attention to detail, and willingness to always go the extra mile.

Many sources recommended me to Russell..
"I hired Russell for our wedding on the 16/09/16 and so glad I did. Many sources recommended Russell to me as their preferred chauffer from charity events, to professional services in the offices I work at. From the first initial call with Russell, he put me at ease instantly and took down all of my requirements (timings / numbers of people / trips to the venue and destination for the day) and contacted me the next day with everything we had discussed including sending a quote. Throughout the months leading up to the wedding date, Russell kept in contact and answered any questions and changes I had very quickly and professionally – even helping with supplying another minibus for the day. I could not be happier with having Russell as our driver, he was very calm and professional on the day and was so helpful, from holding all the wedding bags and holding an umbrella over myself and my bridesmaids due to the rain, to transporting our additional flowers and the wedding cake to the venue, all this with no hassle and a smile – nothing was too much trouble. Even when a broken down lorry on the motorway almost made us late – Russell quickly found a solution and got us to the church on time – his driving is impeccable and felt very safe in his hands. Both Russell appearance and his cars were immaculate being very patient and always going the extra mile to help. I have already wholeheartedly recommended Russell for a number of weddings and professional services and will continue to do so for anyone in need of a chauffeur for personal and professional functions. Thank you Russell – you were simply amazing."

I will certainly be recommending Russell
“It was a lovely day and went perfectly, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. Should any of my friends be looking for a wedding car or need a special car and driver for any occasion I will certainly be recommending Russell.”

We are so happy we chose Russell for our wedding
“We are so happy we chose Russell for our wedding day! He has perfected the difficult combination of being attentive and discrete. He was so helpful, kind and happy, but also not at all intrusive during those special moments between the bride and her father beforehand, and the bride and groom after the wedding. The car was spotless, extremely comfortable and just stunning. The communication was easy and seamless throughout and we couldn’t have been happier with the service we were given. Can’t recommend him enough. Thank you Russell!”

FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

They are all memorable! That's the pleasure of weddings and why I enjoy each and every one.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Calm, reliable, GSOH, organised, prepared

What about your business are you most proud of?

That so much of my work is via recommendation

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Enjoy every minute!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

This was an unusual one, because I had never heard the end of the "Something borrowed, something blue" poem. The last line is "and a silver sixpence in her shoe". A bride's father presented it to her as I was driving them both to her wedding ceremony. The bride was in tears!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

On the day of a wedding, I get up early. I like to be prepared for anything and be totally organised so the day goes smoothly. The first thing I do is check the weather! I always cross my fingers for a warm, dry day but as I do weddings all year round I don’t always get my wish. I have three cars, and whichever I’m using, I valet inside and check that there is plenty of bottled water and mints – good for dry mouths! I wash and polish each car so they are sparkling and decorate them with flowers and the bride's choice of ribbons. Having checked the roads are clear, I always set off in plenty of time. The invention of the TrafficMaster and SatNavs have been a godsend for chauffeurs. As a professional with over a million miles of driving under my belt, I don’t get flustered. I’ve dealt with almost every situation imaginable over the years and it’s a big part of my job to keep calm. There is always someone from the bridal party around when I arrive, so I quietly tell them that I am there when they are ready to go. That way no-one panics about where I am. From experience I would say that a bride has never come out when she says she’s going to! I can and do help the bride to get her dress into the car, but my advice to the bride and bridesmaids is always the same – “Put your bottom on the seat first, and then swing your legs round and the dress will follow.” In my experience most brides are pretty calm, unless they’re hiding their nerves well! It’s more likely that the bride’s mother will be the one with the jitters. The brides talk about lots of things – everything from wondering if they’ve fed the dog to how much they’re looking forward to the honeymoon. Sometimes on arrival at receptions, the photographer is there to take pictures of the bride and groom getting out of the car, and I am there of course to open doors and do anything else necessary for the shoot. Then my day finishes when I take the ribbons off my car and vacuum out the confetti.

What is the most original entrance you have given to a wedding couple?

I drove the bride from her home to a location near the church, where she completed her journey in a horse and carriage.

What is your dream car and why?

I have always dreamt of owning a Rolls Royce, and it still feels incredible to me that I now have one. Every journey in it is very special and it definitely turns heads!

What would be your No. 1 tip for arriving in style?

Book one of my cars!

What is your favourite movie car chase?

Italian Job naturally.
