Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Personal, creative, fun, beautiful, expressive
What about your business are you most proud of?
All of it - I built it from scratch, on my own, with just advice and a little help from friends and family at the start.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Please don't worry - enjoy the whole process!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
I didn't get to see them in person, but some clients a couple of years ago had meerkats as ring bearers! We even popped some images of meerkats on the invitations to give the guests a little clue about what was to come beforehand!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
DISCUSSING YOUR REQUIREMENTS
We offer consultations where we invite you to visit us in West Oxfordshire. We can run through all of your ideas and plans, view lots of samples of our previous work and discuss all of the options available to you. If you aren't local or able to book an appointment we are more than happy to run through everything via email, phone, post etc. Alternatively you are welcome to visit us at any of the Wedding Fairs we will be attending over the coming months.
During this time we also discuss the different aspects of the design and what we need to incorporate such as colour schemes or themes etc as well as how the process works going forward. You can be as involved as you like with the design – some couples have included their own paintings and sketches, whereas others are completely happy to put us in the driving seat – the choice is entirely yours.
DESIGNING YOUR STATIONERY
If you are interested in one of our sett designs we are more than happy to make this yours by changing cardstock, colours and fonts. We are always open to suggestions and are honest with you if something just won't work too - but we will always have another alternative! If you have something completely different to our current designs in mind then our Bespoke Design Service is for you! Please do get in touch - we love a challenge!
Once a rough idea of design has been discussed we will then produce a set of personalised samples and a detailed quote which we will post out to you. This comes with no up front cost to you and you are under no obligation to buy from us (of course we hope you fall in love with them and do make a purchase!)
PLACING AN ORDER
To proceed, we do ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit of all of the items you would like to order, which will be used to source all of the materials required and also guarantees the prices agreed on those items. We will send you an invoice for the deposit which will include all of the payments, when they are due and how to pay. We do not currently take cards but are happy to provide details for a bank transfer. You will be also asked to provide us with the dates which you would like to receive the stationery by and you will be booked in.
MAKING SURE IT'S ALL PERFECT
At every stage, Save the Dates, Invitations and On the Day Stationery, we will be in touch to discuss any amendments you would like to make to the design. A final draft sample will then be produced (either printed or electronically) for your approval. If we need to make any further changes we will email a screen grab of the amended file for you to check over. Only when you are 100% happy do we ask for the remaining balance of that stage of stationery to be made and we will then start work on the order.
...IT'S NOT AS COMPLICATED AS YOU THOUGHT!
What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?
I think it's the invitation as it sets the scene from the start. Your guests will look at this the most of all the stationery items as it's usually sent out months in advance and will be placed somewhere prominent so they don't lose it (which is why we like to make them as beautiful as possible!!!) The invitations will include all of the information guests will need for the big day from times and venues, to directions and accommodation details and gift list details.
What is your best seller?
Pocket invitations - perfect for keeping all that important guest information secure
How do you add romance to any wedding stationery you do?
It's the little things! We love to personalise our stationery - whether it's with a monogram made of the couples initials, a pretty motif including the wedding date, some images of the couples beloved pets, little hearts or flowers that will be in the brides bouquet - there's lots of ways to add romance and the personal touch
