We are husband and wife team, Stuart and Amie, living and working in the beautiful Norfolk countryside where we are lucky enough to be surrounded by some of the most incredible wedding venues. Laurel House are AMAZING!

Laurel House are AMAZING! We had quite a minimalistic wedding in terms of design, but Amie listened to everything and came up with some great ideas that looking back on our day, we would have been gutted if we had gone for something else. We were on a budget with decorating our venue, and Amie created something beautiful for us whilst keeping in budget. What is your most memorable wedding?

We created an entire white and gold suite for a wonderful couple getting married at Oxnead Hall in Norfolk. From bridal party gifts to signage and everything in between. It was striking!

What about your business are you most proud of?

We are a husband & wife team with support from so many fabulous Norfolk wedding venues and suppliers.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Break the wedding planning down into manageable chunks to avoid overwhelm. Share as much information as you can with your suppliers so that you can trust them to create just what you have imagined or better!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

We love our embroidered napkins when used as place settings. Fabulously luxurious but also wonderful keepsake favours for your guests.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After getting in touch to enquire and share your ideas, you will be invited to a private design appointment approx 4 months ahead of your wedding date. We host our design meeting at our studio in Aylsham, or by video call if you are a little further away or unable to visit. This is when we will start to go through all of the finer details (style, design, fonts, colours etc) and begin to build your order. From then, I will send proofs over ahead of completing each piece, and work through your order ensuring everything is ready at least 2 weeks before the big day.

What is the most important piece of stationery for a wedding and why?

We believe in pieces that can be used more than once and last a lifetime. That's why we design our welcome signs in such a way that they won't look out of place in your home after your wedding day.
