My price is for full service. Getting to know you, working together, often for months before your wedding, chatting to your family and friends, crafting a truly bespoke ceremony and delivering it on the day in a relaxed, welcoming, joyous, fun, inclusive and truly engaging and memorable way. This is hours and hours and hours of work over months. this is what you are paying for. A truly personal service. So, the registration of marriage is not the same as your ceremony. You can register your marriage in a simple ceremony at your local registry office with two witnesses for roughly £60.00. If you add this to the price of my celebrant-led wedding ceremony, this comes to pretty much the same price as the registrars attending a licensed venue to perform a simple ceremony with the registration of marriage. There is nothing at all wrong with this option and is the right option for many couples. This is NOT the right option for you if you want to know your officiant on a personal level. If you want your wedding ceremony to be led by somebody who has taken the time to really get to know you and who will write your wedding ceremony from scratch, for you. Your wedding ceremony is so much more than a template. if you want your ceremony to be a celebration of your personality, your values, and your marriage - this is unique to you.
