What is your most memorable wedding?
This has to be Anna and James' wedding which was featured in Rock n Roll Bride ... they really went to town on personalising every aspect of their day starting with their ceremony which included a London gospel choir, a mid-ceremony surprise karaoke, both Mums delivering a very funny poem complete with actions, and giant confetti cannons exploding over them at the kiss finale. They followed a strolling jazz band to their village fete-themed reception where they played silly games and a tug of war, and performed a perfectly choreographed first dance later that night!

What about your business are you most proud of?
I am so proud to have had my several of my couples' weddings published on the popular Wedding Blogs: Rock n Roll Bride, Rock My Wedding, Festival Brides, Whimsical Wonderland Weddings, Mr & Mrs Unique - to name a few. It's so lovely to get the recognition and to see my couples photos featured in print!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Have fun with your wedding day and really try to make it as personal as you can - that way it stays memorable in your guests' minds for a long time. You'll ( hopefully!) only do it once!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Individual wicker picnic baskets for small groups of guests, filled with vintage crockery and cutlery, a blanket, a bottle of Prosecco and a selection of chutneys - guests then added to this from tables of breads, cold meats, cheeses and salads. A very relaxed picnic-style Wedding Breakfast!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Where possible we meet up first to see if we might be a good fit. I bring example scripts from real weddings to my couple consultations. We discuss your ideas and I make suggestions, before drafting and writing a ceremony script that is completely tailored to you in terms of spoken content, and as many ceremony enhancements as you wish. You might choose a unity ceremony such as candle lighting, or sand pouring, or a hand-fasting element to your ceremony. These are poignant moments remembered by your friends and family and make incredible photo opportunities too. With experience of many different ceremonies I am well placed to advise on stage management and the look and feel of your wedding ceremony, and offer a rehearsal as standard in my fee.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
I am currently working with a lovely couple who wish to have their cat involved as a Bridesmaid in their wedding ceremony - on a lead!
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
I always rehearse and practice the ceremony with my couples - this really helps settle any nerves and ensures everyone knows their role, and where they're supposed to be at any given time. I like to think my calm professional approach helps during this process.
What do you love most about your job?
I love that I get to work with so many truly lovely couples and their families - it really is a pleasure and a privilege to do this and call it a job!
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
Seeing all the happy smiling faces of family and friends gazing on as my couple say their wedding vows to one another - that's priceless.
