She was fantastic! Organised, thorough, personable
Lisa from Taylored weddings helped us with the planning and co-ordination of our wedding party. Our desire was to have a relaxed, festival style celebration. As the day approached it became apparent that there were far too many people, florists, food suppliers, entertainers etc for us to manage ourselves and this is where Lisa came in. She was fantastic!! Organised, thorough, personable, knowledgable and genuinely caring. She made the approach to the wedding, the day itself and the pack down run like clockwork, alleviating all the pressure from us, allowing us to enjoy our day. We could not recommend her highly enough. Thank you so, so much! Peter and Anandi Devlin x

Lisa is incredible
Lisa is incredible and I would highly recommend her to help plan your wedding! She’s very knowledgable and can always answer any questions you have. She’s very calm and easy to get on with. Lisa was amazing on the morning of our wedding too, helping things run smoothly, adding final touches and calming the groom down before hand too! In all honesty I was a bit dubious about having a wedding planner but I would totally advise it!

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Thorough Professional Structured Fun Calm

What about your business are you most proud of?

I am proud not only of the professional service that I provide my clients on their wedding day, but also that I can guide people through a challenging time and empower them to be confident enough to get the best out of themselves when planning.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Enjoy the experience as a whole, the day itself will go by so quickly so make the most of every second of it and the months planning. Whether that is cake tasting, dress trying on or wandering around numerous unsuitable venues!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

My services normally begin with an email and/or phone call. It is important that I am available for my potential clients to get to know, after all they are leaving the success of their wedding day in my hands. Once I understand fully the clients requirements I will send a detailed proposal and quote, if that is acceptable for the client I will send a contract. If my clients want to meet me face to face before we get to this stage, that is fine. I am very much a face to face kind of person, I like to speak and get to know people. Depending on how far in advance the wedding is I will make contact via email from time to time just to check on the planning progress and offer any free support that I can. 4 weeks before the wedding, I meet with my clients to discuss their wedding day and together we work out the schedule. Once this is done and is agreed by my clients I make contact with the suppliers to introduce myself and share the schedule with them. I answer any questions they may have and act as the point of contact between them and my client, therefor my clients aren't getting pestered by multiple people unnecessarily in the weeks leading up to their wedding. On the day itself I will arrive early to se up, before any other suppliers normally, and I make sure things are ready for when the suppliers arrive. I will work with them, helping them where needed and making sure everything is being done within the time frame that has been set. When my clients arrive I am never far from their side. I am available for them to ask questions, I make sure they are sticking to the planned schedule and act as the point of contact between them and the venue or any suppliers that will be there on the day. At the end of the day I will wave them off and if required stay to assist with the clear down or lock up.

What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?

I was asked by a Father of the Bride whether I would be interested in arranging his wake when he died! He said he was so happy with the way I had co-ordinated his daughters wedding he wanted that after he'd gone. I am yet to be contacted so I can only hope he's still going strong!

How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

I am simply available, approachable and I listen to exactly what my couples want. I am calm, organised and very structured in my approaches. Prior planning ensures a poor performance.

What do you love most about your job?

Do your homework. Make sure you are happy with the suppliers you pick and if you have a niggle, trust your gut.

What is your favourite moment at a wedding?

There are 2 moments. When the music begins and the groom looks at the bride for the first time at the beginning of the ceremony. Also, the last moments of the Father of the Bride speech when he is describing his love for his daughter. Tears at both!
