Shire Promotions Full Description
As well as being able to help you plan your big day we are also on hand as wedding coordinators to make sure your day goes just as planned - leaving the experience totally hassle and stress free for you. Our Wedding Planning services are completely tailored to you, so if you are not quite sure what it is you are looking for or if you have known the exact details since you were a child we can be as 'hands on' as required. If you do not need a complete wedding planning service then we are able to charge on an hourly basis for any tasks you need us to assist with.
We have staff available for set up and clean up - meaning one less job for you to think about! Our staff are also fully trained for any waiter or bar services required - we can provide a mobile bar too - just ask for the details.
As event planners we also host a Wedding Fair Bi-annually at Warwick Hall in Burford so if you need any advice on local wedding businesses we would be happy to make recommendations.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Plan a Wedding which makes you happy, don't worry about what other people want or expect.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
A first meeting, which usually includes coffee and cake! Followed by catch up meetings and discussions as often as required up until the big day. We are available to come to fittings, venues, cake tastings (we love this part!) and any other appointment you would like us to attend. We can source materials, caterers, music or anything else you need assistance with. On the special day we can set up, provide a wedding coordinator and serving staff and then tidy away the following day - making it completely hassle free for you! If you don't need our full wedding services we are also available to help with whatever you need assistance with - making our services completely flexible and unique.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
We are so quirky and love all things different that we haven't really found anything too unusual for us!! We will keep you posted!
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
One of our team members loves all things to do with organisation so we leave it down to her to produce the to do lists for everything which needs to be done (she usually makes lists of lists to do too). Once all the planning is underway we find it is easy to make weddings stress free by just being ourselves - friendly, relaxed and professional.
What do you love most about your job?
Enjoy planning your Wedding, take your time and don't feel pressured into making an instant decision. Ok that may be three tips but they are all pretty important!
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
The cutting of the cake :) Everyone has been fed and is relaxed and it creates a fantastic atmosphere for the night to begin (We usually get offered a slice of cake too - yum!)
