What is your most memorable wedding?
I remember every single wedding I have ever planned for my clients, it's such a personal experience for each of them and throughout the process we really get to know them as friends. I couldn't pick out just one, it would be like choosing between my children. I have nothing but fond memories of every wedding and every client, and I'm still in touch with them all today.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Elegant, Understated, Organic, Artful, Inspiring
What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm proud of so many things in business, starting it from the ground up on my own with just a seed of an idea and a lot of passion. But mostly what makes me proud is hearing my clients tell me how their wedding planning has been the most joyful and least stressful experience ever. How they had the days they dreamed of and then some. And how they could not have done it without me and my team - this makes me burst with pride every time.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Always start with your why and what you want this experience to be about, from the planning through to the day itself. And keep this top of mind when you make every single decision. Stay true to you and have some fun with it.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
We help our clients weave in their own personal story to their wedding day so every touch is carefully considered as part of the narrative. They all work together like little pieces of a larger jigsaw - I couldn't possibly pick out one favourite.

As designers we are inspired by the beauty of natural surroundings and wide open spaces, our style is organic, elegant and understated. Whether we are working within a grand house on a private estate or an intimate place, a rustic barn or a blank canvas marquee – our approach is the same: we bring together spaces with thoughtfulness.
Our design ethos is one of understated elegance, effortless luxury and artful refinement, and it is never overdone. Our designs are raw and honest to inspire conversation, and beautifully emotive to encourage celebration.

We work hard behind-the-scenes to carefully choreograph every element, so that it all flows effortlessly. We take care of all the nitty-gritty details around logistics, supply team communications, contracts and paperwork, scheduling and everything in between. Leaving you free to focus on the good stuff.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
A 3-day festival wedding in a field. We had to bring every single service onto the estate, from glamping villages to eco-shower cubicles, vanity tents, a cinema tent for the kiddies, a vintage airstream photobooth, a main tent for all the dining experiences and more. We even had wood-fired hot tubs available to guests throughout the night so they could star-gaze in style. It was an epic weekend.
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
Are laidback in our approach, yet rigorous in our management. You will see often see us laughing and smiling while we work, because we love what we do and we don’t believe in stress. Adrenalin – yes, stress – no way.
We approach challenges with curiosity. Thinking always – how do we make this happen for our clients. We rarely concede something can’t be done, it’s just about looking at it creatively.
What do you love most about your job?
Seeing all those happy smiling faces on a wedding day, knowing we're part of creating that experience for our clients and their guests. Knowing we've helped our clients truly embrace and enjoy the process instead of feeling stressed out or worried they have missed something. One of my clients once said to me "You allowed me to just turn up for my wedding and experience the day, I could really live in the moment and soak it all in, that for me was priceless"
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
The ceremony - without doubt it's what it's all about. Sure we can create the most amazing dining experience and rocking parties but for me it's those spine-tingling moments as you say your vows in front of everyone you love. I always cry, even now after 30+ weddings and 8 years in the industry. The vows get me every single time.
