What about your business are you most proud of?
I'm proud that I've been able to take my storytelling, writing and editing skills and apply them to a role that has a very real and very positive impact on people's lives.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Listen to your gut and cut out the noise: yes, everyone will have an opinion but only you know what you want. Trust yourself.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I start working with you to plan your ceremony about six months before your wedding. We share ideas, I learn your story and hear about what marriage means to you. I get you to really think about why you are getting married, why you love each other, why this is the person you want to spend your life with.
From here, I craft a ceremony that draws on your personalities, passions and values. We then work together to fine tune the details by adding readings, music, personal vows and more. I am all yours on the day and I arrive an hour before the ceremony to make sure we're all on track and to help welcome your guests. I'll be the safe pair of hands that delivers and guides your ceremony and quietly passes you tissues if it all gets a bit emotional!
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
I'm organised, responsive and contactable. I set key milestones for our work together and I stay in touch throughout the ceremony planning process to ensure you're clear and comfortable with what is happening. I am adaptable and flexible, able to pivot plans if that little thing called 'life' happens.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
The moment couples exchange their personal vows to one another. It's such a privilege to witness that moment of pure love and honest devotion.
