What is your most memorable wedding?
I have too many to choose just one, however one that particularly stands out was in a barn in Northamptonshire where the bride and groom's theme was wet and windy! they really embraced the British weather, guests all wore wellies and had matching umbrellas. Jumping in muddy puddles was one of the activities for the guests, with Baileys hot chocolates available on arrival for guests!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
I love a wide range of styles, one thing I can assure is that my personal preferences will not be an influence in the theme and style you wish for your wedding - it is all about you.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Give yourself plenty of time, try not to rush decisions. Organisation is key to reducing stress.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
At a recent wedding, the bride's father had unfortunately passed away prior to the wedding. On the day of the wedding, hanging from the ceiling was a laser cut wooden sign reading : Dad's viewing point. This was one of the loveliest tributes I had seen.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Depending which service you require, we have an initial sit down at a time and place to suit you. I will discuss the general planning, answer questions you may have and then create a plan and timeline for your planning process.
At the initial consultation we discuss what your initial vision for your wedding was, we cover your must haves, your likes and your inspiration ideas.
I then plan following meetings and what they will cover - venue, styling, food, cake etc.
In between meeting you may have questions which is why you are able to email, call, whatsapp or skype to go over any queries.
I visit all venues and suppliers then bring the information directly to you. Which saves the time and the legwork and most often money, as I am able to negotiate discounts.
I will also be there on the day before, day of and day after the wedding.
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
On the day of the wedding I will be there, meaning all you have to do is enjoy your day. I create a thorough itinerary and use floor plans to ensure all logistic are figured out.
If there are any unplanned incidents on the day, I will deal with them so discreetly, you wont even realise that they had occurred.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
I have two, the first is the father of the brides face when the first dance occurs. The second is watching the bride's reaction to the groom's speech.
