John Driscoll - Norfolk Wedding Toastmaster & MC Full Description
As your Wedding Toastmaster I am concerned with detailed planning, etiquette and liaising with all parties to help personalize your wedding or civil partnership, as well as offer guidance about the day. Following payment of a Booking Fee I am then available 24/7 either on the telephone or via email for any issues or concerns based on my wide experience of all sorts of weddings and a working knowledge of local suppliers. My own mantra is Your Wedding…..Your Way! I also state that I care about the couple….and am willing to carry their ‘worry bag’ on the day freeing them up to really enjoy the day with family and friends. That ‘worry bag’ can sometimes become quite heavy. In my experience common concerns for the couple can be; • Being unsure about the content of key wedding speeches • Uncertain about the roles and responsibilities on the day of the Best Man / Chief Bridesmaid / Bridesmaids / Ushers etc. • Ensuring proper wedding etiquette for seating at the top table and during receiving lines • Locating guests in the ceremony room without the bride being seen • Organizing the wedding breakfast seating plan that can become quite ‘family political’….for instance who will sit where and next to whom? • Being aware of sensitive family issues on the day e.g. divorced parents • Paying wedding suppliers on the day e.g. vicar, organist, disco etc. • Securing the gifts and cards on the day as well as during the evening • Ensuring everybody is in the right place at the right time on the day • Looking after frail or disabled guests My main role as your Professional Wedding Toastmaster is to cope with anything that may unexpectedly happen to spoil the day. I meet and greet all the guests on arrival, ensure that everyone is in the right place at the right time, stage manage ‘special moments’ , support those giving wedding speeches and YES….what everyone expects a Toastmaster to do…..make announcements in my red tailcoat!

THE TOASTIE WITH THE THE MOSTIE
Anthony - Groom From the moment I met John I knew he was going to make our wedding go without a hitch , I arrived with my groomsmen and instantly John introduced himself and within a couple of minutes it felt like id known him for years and that he was one of my groomsmen , with his great sense of humour , and his knowledge and experience he helped my nerves disappear , and had me , my groomsmen , and guests that had already arrived in fits of laughter. Laura - Bride Previous to our wedding , I had several meetings with John where he met the bridal party and to discuss the all details needed for him to make our day perfect , he made sure he had all the details he needed , for example , names of those who werent able to attend any disabilities , any elderly who may need help , names of loved and lost ones who would be with us in spirit , amongst a lot of other fine details. On the day of our wedding , his execution of dealing with the wedding guests and organising them as and when needed was perfect , from meeting and greeting them , up to getting them in place before i arrived . On my arrival he guided my Limo in and made sure everyone was in the hall before I exited the vehicle . I could go on about how professional he was but it would take all night to type so I will make a list of some of the things he did which for us was above and beyond.. : Finding pain relief for those who ended up with headaches : Coming equipped with anti stain wipes(which were needed as a glass of wine was spilt on my dress before the pictures) and he cleaned my dress before we had them done : His announcements were absolutely perfect both in timing and words : All our guests commented on how great he was and how much fun he was : Our children (who have learning difficulties)took to him and adored him All in all he gave an exemplary, bespoke, affordable, personal and individual, memorable experience that will remain a memory of our very special day and we are very grateful to him and would recommend him to all our friends.

Quite simply our perfect day xx
John was funny, charming, professional. Yet managed all levels , varying from my father with dementia , down to our Grandchildren. He filled his worry bag with our concerns and dealt with it all with a smile and unique calmness. Totally recommend this man who is amazing as a toasti.

Best Wedding Toastmaster
A huge thank-you John for everything you did for us on the day - it certainly meant we were able to just enjoy the whole event without worrying about the organisation and I know Ollie and Jo found your presence a great reassurance knowing you had everything under control…….I hope you enjoyed the day, it was great fun and the new Mr & Mrs Stapleton did indeed have the wedding of their dreams…………...Debra (Mother of the Bridegroom)

Top Toastie!
We met John 3 plus years back at a wedding fayre and we were lucky enough when we decided to set the date early last year for our New Years Eve wedding he was the recommended toastmaster and available for our date. He looked after all our guests perfectly doing everything from arranging cravats for the grooms party, pining buttonholes correctly, retrieving my 2 year old when he went on an exploration mission, keeping my groom calm and collected and making sure the whole day ran to time and we didn't have a single thing to worry about. My only regret is we are now married and don't have this experience to look forward to anymore....... Thank you so much
