The hard work that went into creating HappiLee, I worked incredibly hard producing daily content to build a platform and it has paid off!
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Always have a pre-wedding consultation even if you do not wish to hire a planner as they can point you in the right starting direction for planning the rest of the event.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
My first client used family members services more than external suppliers and so the wedding felt more intimate and close to home
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I will meet with the couple either in person or via video call, I listen while they tell me their ideas, visions, answer their questions and spend as much time with them as they need to feel confident in planning their event. After the meeting, I will retype any notes I take and professionally format them to be printed, packaged and posted to the couple or emailed to them to review as they plan. In addition to this they will receive a complimentary wedding planning book from us to keep their plans safe. For the partial planning service this is a day to day approach depending on client needs and cannot be predicted. To be supportive and helpful in every possible way will ensure a successful event.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
A completely clear/Perspex style reception!
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
Giving clients plenty of advice, resources and patience at their consultation and giving the same should they reach out again throughout the planning process. By keeping calm and being prepared, I can reflect that in my clients.
What do you love most about your job?
Always have a pre-wedding consultation even if you do not wish to hire a planner as they can point you in the right starting direction for planning the rest of the event.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
The exchange of vows, so personal and intimate. There could be 300 people watching at the ceremony but in that moment only the Bride and Groom are present
