What is your most memorable wedding?
Probably my own! We did everything in a way that we wanted to and threw the rule book out of the window! We've been married 9 years now but people still talk about what a relaxes and special day it was.

What about your business are you most proud of?
That having took a leap of faith to retrain in my 50s I now have a successful business as a Celebrant and get to share in couples most joyful moments.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Your ceremony, your way. Don't be swayed by trends or what you think people expect. Do it your way, in your style and create a day that you want.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Couples who involve their children in part of the ceremony. When you already have young children it's more than just about the couple coming together, it's about officially bringing a family together and seeing the children take an active part warms my heart every time.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I start with an initial no-obligation call so that couples can ask questions and see if we are a good fit. It's important that you feel a connection with your Celebrant. Then once the booking is confirmed I provide couples with my questionnaires to help me create their ceremony and I meet with them either in person or virtually approximately 3 or 4 times so that we really get to know each other. You get to have as many redrafts of your script until you are completely happy with it. Then on the day, I'll be there at least one hour before to ensure that everything is ready and set up so things run smoothly. I'll be on hand to calm any nerves and keep your guests happy.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
A flash mob for as the bride walked down the aisle! It worked a treat and all the guests ended up joining in!
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
Plan, plan and plan! I am a super organised person which probably drives my husband nuts! But I like to plan for every eventuality and be prepared for the unexpected!

Getting to meet and know my couples and then share in the most important day of their lives
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
The exchange of the vows and promises.
