What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
When family and friends hear the love story of the couple. It is always a tearjerker.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I always say to meet and have a chat about your ceremony. Zoom etc has made meeting so much easier. After our chat I always, no matter how well the meeting has gone to go away and have a think. If you want to go ahead I will send through all the paper work electronically, quote, booking forms and contract to electronically sign.
Planning the ceremony is planned around your time, I know how busy life can be.
I will support you with ideas, to plan your ceremony. I will send examples of every part of the ceremony you wish to include and we will meet to discuss what you want your ceremony to be like.
My script will be choreographed so you know what will happen during the ceremony and by whom.
I don't mind change so if we need to adapt and do something different. Let's do it.
Most importantly I want to tell your love story.
On the day of your ceremony you will have your script planned and choreographed, a certificate to sign and a presentation copy for your personal keepsake, all made and designed by me.
Most importantly the ceremony working with me is personal and unique.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
A football ceremony. Lots of fun though.
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
Planning, organisation and details. Most importantly I see the ceremony as an experience not an event. You should enjoy the whole time planning as well as the day itself.
What do you love most about your job?
Ask questions, especially when looking for a celebrant, go away take time to think and when you find the right celebrant put your trust in them.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
Telling the couples love story and seeing how proud they are to tell it, even when at the start they may have not known they had one to tell.
