What is your most memorable wedding?
That is completely impossible to answer! Every wedding has something memorable about it but if we had to choose it might be when we had a swan charge through a marquee. Just imagine...
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Creative. Stylish. Unique. Personal.
What about your business are you most proud of?
That we have made a way to offer a service which is completely bespoke to our clients and their budgets. No two services are the same, no two weddings are the same. We like to focus on personal touches and impeccable delivery.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make decisions with your heart and not with your head. This is the one day of your life where you can be completely all about you.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
The lace of the bride's late grandmothers' dress was incorporated into her veil. So personal, so touching and such a tear jerker.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We love chatting weddings! We meet for a consultation to get to know you, it's fun and tends to be over cake or cocktails. Following that, we go into creative development and pull together a concept that builds on all your ideas and sets a vision for the wedding: from ceremony, to reception through to your party. We love to tell a story through our weddings, so each stage of the day will look slightly different and build upon the other. Once this is signed off, we carefully choose the right suppliers for the design, your budget and your personality. And then we get planning! On the day we arrive early, leave late and seamlessly orchestrate from behind the scenes.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
A flash mob for the first dance! Beyond fun...
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?
We plan together, so we prep together and we triple check everything - 100times. We also make a huge effort to have solid and tight relationships with our suppliers so we can work together and achieve a level of service like no other.
What do you love most about your job?
Creating a vision for a bride and groom. When we have our initial consultation we make notes of the smallest little things which then emerge through our design schemes. It makes the whole concept full of personal touches.
What is your favourite moment at a wedding?
There is a wonderful moment just before the guests arrive for the ceremony when the groom can get restless with all the anticipation. His ushers and bestmen will very often have an emotional huddle and a hug - softies!
