What is your most memorable wedding?
As a wedding planner, one of my most memorable weddings was when I planned a wedding in a winter wonderland theme. The couple wanted to get married in the middle of winter and they chose a mountain cabin as their wedding venue. The cabin was nestled in the heart of a forest covered in snow, creating a magical and enchanting ambiance. We decorated the venue with pine trees, candles, and fairy lights creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. The couple exchanged their vows on a bridge made of ice, over a frozen stream. The party continued with a traditional feast served by the fire, with live music and an ice sculpture bar. It was a truly beautiful and magical experience for everyone involved, and I was honored to be able to make it happen for the couple.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
My number one wedding planning tip for couples is to prioritize and make a list of what is most important to you. Weddings can be incredibly complex, with many different elements to consider, such as the venue, the guest list, the food, the flowers, and more. It's easy to get overwhelmed with all of the options and decisions that need to be made.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
My favorite personal touch I have seen at a wedding is when a couple incorporated their love for books into their wedding. The couple met at a bookstore and they were both passionate about literature. They decided to use books as a motif throughout the wedding.
The ceremony was held in a library, with shelves of books lining the walls and book pages hanging from the ceiling, creating a whimsical and romantic atmosphere. They had a book signing table for their guests instead of a traditional guestbook, and each table at the reception was named after their favorite novels. They even had a book-themed cake and the couple read love letters to each other, during the ceremony, written on their favorite novels. It was a unique and creative way to personalize the wedding and it was a beautiful tribute to the couple's love story.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
One way to simplify the process is to make a list of the things that are most important to you and your partner. This will help you focus on the things that really matter and make the process less stressful. And also make sure that you are making decisions together as a couple, and compromise when necessary to make sure that you're both happy with the outcome.
Another tip is to communicate clearly and effectively with your vendors, this will make it easier for them to understand your preferences and needs, and make sure that you're both on the same page.
And lastly, don't forget to enjoy the planning process and take time for each other. This is a special time in your lives and should be cherished.
Keep in mind that there's no such thing as a perfect wedding and it's okay to make adjustments as you go along. The most important thing is that you and your partner are happy and content with the outcome.

Describe your typical process with a couple.
As a wedding planner, my typical process with a couple begins with an initial consultation. During this meeting, we discuss the couple's wedding vision, preferences, style, budget, and timelines. We also discuss their needs and what type of planning service they are looking for. This can be full-service planning, partial planning, or day-of coordination.
Once we have a clear understanding of the couple's needs and preferences, I will provide them with a detailed proposal outlining the services I can offer, and their associated costs.
If the couple chooses to proceed with our services, we will then begin the planning process. Depending on the type of service they have chosen, this could involve working together on aspects such as venue selection, vendor research and coordination, budget management, and timeline creation.
Throughout the planning process, I will be in regular communication with the couple, providing updates, answering questions, and making sure that everything is on track.
We'll have a few meetings or calls, where we will review progress, work on details, and make decisions on final touches, such as decor and music.
On the wedding day, I will be on-site to make sure that everything runs smoothly and according to plan, overseeing vendors, and taking care of any last-minute details. After the wedding, we will have a final meeting to review the event, and get feedback.
My goal is to make the planning process as seamless and stress-free as possible, while ensuring that the couple's unique vision is brought to life on their special day.
What is the most unusual thing you’ve been asked to plan?
A Wedding on a hot air balloon, The couple wanted to exchange their vows while floating above the countryside, with just the pilot, the couple and myself on board. The biggest challenge was coordinating with the balloon company and making sure that the weather conditions were suitable for the flight, and also making sure that it would be safe for all of us. The couple provided all the decorations for the ride and I had to make sure that all legal requirements for a wedding ceremony were met, as well as all safety measures. But it was definitely a unique and memorable experience for all of us. It was challenging but being able to make their dream come true was worth all the effort.
How do you ensure a stress-free wedding?

I create a detailed plan and schedule, so that everyone knows what to expect and when, and I make sure that everything runs smoothly on the wedding day.
Communication and coordination: I maintain clear and open lines of communication with the couple, vendors, and other wedding professionals, ensuring that everyone is on the same page and that all the details are taken care of.
Problem-solving: I am always available to handle any issues that may arise, and I have a plan in place to handle unexpected situations.

Empathy and understanding: I understand how stressful planning a wedding can be, and I strive to make the process as stress-free as possible for the couple.
Flexibility: I am flexible and adaptable to changes and always ready to adjust plans as needed.
Having a Day-of Coordinator: I also provide Day-of coordination service where I take care of all the details on the day of the wedding, so that the couple can relax and enjoy their special day without worrying about coordinating vendors and other details.
In general, my goal is to make the wedding planning process and the wedding day as stress-free as possible, so the couple can focus on enjoying their special day with their loved ones.
