What is your most memorable wedding?
Wow that's a hard one! I've loved them all for different reasons. Every wedding has something unique about it.
One saw the bride and groom literally dance out of the Church to the tune 'Happy'. Another was so windy the bride's veil had a life of its own. I can tell you plenty more memorable tales over a cup of tea :)

What about your business are you most proud of?
I think the relationships I create with my clients is definitely what I'm most proud of.
I meet them at the consultation and again before the wedding date so I really get to know them and understand what's important to them. It really helps couples relax and feel at ease on the day.
What is your No.1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Stay true to what matters to you the most.
When I see couples adding their own personality and quirks to a wedding it's amazing. So unique. Be brave and don't feel like you have to conform to certain traditions if it's really not 'you'.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A couples who got their dogs to be the ring bearers.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I always meet the couple for a consultation and once I've been booked, I meet the couple at their venue about 6 weeks before. Here we do a little 'practice' shoot of some portraits to help them relax and get used to me behind the camera. It really helps people to know what to expect on the day and I give them some tips to prepare them for the big day. At this meeting we also sit down and go through all the final details and timings of the day before I then put together my shooting schedule.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Umbrellas and wellies or a change of shoes as it's still fun to go outside and get some shots in the rain.
Describe how you got into photography.
From the moment I was given my first camera at the age of 9 I just loved it.
I still remember the buzz when I started experimenting with my camera back then.
About 15 years ago I travelled the world with my husband and spent most of my time behind the lens. I fell in love with people photography and even got a finalist position in The Independent’s ‘Travel Photography of the Year’. That's when I set up my business and I haven't looked back.
