I love weddings, but what girl dosen’t?! I love the details the bride has spent ages picking out, the decorations, the shoes, the hair accessories, the favours, the lights. Everything that makes the day specific to the couple. I love standing back and capturing the moment the couple become Mr & Mrs, I love watching the pride in the faces of the families and I love the emotion that you can only get on a wedding day. I want to mingle with your guests and capture them soaking up the wonder and enjoyment of your day but I also know when to step back and just let things happen. We have beautiful photos!

We have had the absolute pleasure of using Stephanie for our wedding photos and a variety of family shoots and can not recommend her highly enough. As a result we have a house filled with beautiful photos that capture the true essence of us! Not only is Stephanie an incredibly talented photographer but she is a truly lovely lady which only adds to the quality of her photos as she puts people at ease and makes the shoot an enjoyable experience (not an easy task when working with little people and my husband and I who really don’t like having our photo taken!!).

Relaxed and unobtrusive.

We had such a wonderful day with Stephanie, and she captured some unique and beautiful photos. We were all made to feel relaxed and the photos were unobtrusive. She also came up with some creative and fun ideas for photo opportunities which we thoroughly enjoyed. She was amazing with the little ones and got fab photos of our little boy who is 18 months old. Nothing was too much trouble, and she was so helpful and kind at every step of the way from tailoring our package and timings, to making us laugh for fun snaps, to solving any problems or issues. We love our pictures and will come back for the next event, or family shoot without doubt.

We recently booked Stephanie for our wedding photography and she was excellent, far exceeding our photography expectations. She not only blended into the reception unobtrusively among our guests, but managed to organise and get beautiful photos of all 124 of us, the reception, church service, friends and family – she charmed and captured everyone, from the 2 year olds to the 80 year olds, including the family spaniels! This lady is amazing!

This lady is amazing! From the first meeting I knew I could trust her with our day and she certainly didn’t disappoint. Stephanie surpassed herself

What is your most memorable wedding?

Photographing a wedding as we travelled up the Thames on a huge boat. It was amazing.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Make sure you incorporate time to be together on the day. It goes so quickly. Time alone together to take it all in and enjoy the magic of the day is so important.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

The bride has small paper flowers within her bouquet and the paper used was from her Mum’s favourite book. A very subtle but very personal touch.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After enquiry I will send the couple an email detailing the packages I offer. If they then like to meet I will bring along some samples from previous weddings and also discuss their plans for the day. Should they book me we have further catch-up calls / meetings before their big day. If it’s a new venue, I will also visit the venue and speak to their point of contact re the times on the day etc.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

A photo of just the two of them. Alone. In an area of the venue they love.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

Six men (the groom and his groomsmen) playing bagpipes along Westminster Bridge in the shadow of Big Ben. It was so much fun and drew a huge crowd!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Depending on the couple, we can either embrace it and get fun shots with umbrellas in the rain, or utilise the inside areas of the venue to capture some shots.

Describe how you got into photography.

I have always been a keen hobbyist and when my career in financial services ended I decided to turn my hobby into a career. Best decision I have ever made. I love capturing memories for people.
