Natural, considered wedding photography
If you’re planning a wedding in Herefordshire or beyond, I offer a straightforward, story-led approach to photography that focuses on what actually happens on the day. Rather than stiff posing or set-piece moments, I concentrate on real interactions, honest reactions, and the small details that give the day its character. The result is a collection of photographs that feels natural, balanced, and true to you.
Experience that lets the day run smoothly
With over 20 years’ experience and hundreds of weddings photographed, I know how to work quietly and efficiently without disrupting the flow of the day. Couples often tell me they appreciate how unobtrusive the photography feels and how easy everything is to manage alongside the rest of their plans.
I hold a BA (Hons) in Photography and am an Associate of the Royal Photographic Society. My work combines documentary coverage with clear, relaxed direction when it’s helpful, particularly for group photos and portraits, allowing everything else to unfold naturally.
Your day, recorded thoughtfully
Every wedding is different, and I take the time to understand what matters most to you. Whether it’s a small, personal celebration or a larger gathering, my focus is on creating a well-rounded record of the day that reflects the people, the atmosphere, and the effort you’ve put into planning it. I pay close attention to the in-between moments – the looks, conversations, and quiet reactions that often mean the most later on.

The first wedding I ever covered for someone I didn't know. I was a nervous wreck and ran on adrenaline all day.
Observational, natural, personal, heartfelt, timeless
The fact that I cover so many weddings for people who know one another. I covered a wedding a few years ago where out of 80 guests I'd photographed 7 couples' weddings, that's a wonderful feeling.
Try not to get too caught up in what should happen at a wedding, think outside the box and make your day your own
Pennies as favours with a request that each guest throws their penny into the well in the corner of the room and makes a wish for the bride and groom.
I prefer very much to respond to situations on the day and so other than verifying timings and group photo requirements there's very little more to do before the wedding day itself.
Confetti shots!
By original I take it you don't mean good!? Probably a shot where it looks as though the bride standing in the groom's hands like the kind of shot where people look like they're holding up the leaning tower of Pisa!
Umbrellas!
I always have been, my father worked for Kodak and I studied photography at University
