Picture this: I arrive at the church and everything's going smoothly until, surprise surprise, I manage to get my car stuck in what can only be described as Shrek's hidden swamp. I'm there, dressed to the nines, desperately trying to free my car from the clutches of bog. Eventually, I manage to escape and at the pure delight that I had got unstuck, drove the wrong way back to the reception. It turns out, taking the scenic route wasn't part of the plan, but hey, who needs a sat nav when you've got wedding bells ringing in your ears and a car that refuses to cooperate? It was a journey filled with wrong turns and unexpected detours, but hey, isn't that what marriage is all about?

With a friendly touch, I seamlessly blend into the celebration, capturing candid and effortless memories that reflect the genuine joy of the moment.

Over the past eight years, I take great pride in the milestones and accomplishments I've achieved as a photographer. I like breaking the rules, so here are 3: 1. Communicate Clearly: Share your vision and expectations with your wedding photographer to ensure they capture the moments that matter most to you. 2. Create a Shot List: Work together to establish a short shot list, including must-have photos and important details, to guide the photography on your big day and allocate a 'herder' or two to get everyone where they need to be! It can be done in 20 minutes so everyone can get back to the party! 3. Schedule a Pre-Wedding Shoot: Consider an engagement or pre-wedding shoot to get comfortable in front of the camera and get to know me and your best angles for more authentic wedding day photos!

Recently, I photographed a dairy farmer's wedding and they had mini cow bells as the name cards which all the guests rang as the couple entered!

Every couple should have a confetti shot. It's a rule. I made it. I love them!

Once a couple asked if I would go up onto the roof balcony of their reception venue and take a photo of all the guests from above. It was a summer day, but a touch on the breezy side, so I'm not sure if they heard me but they certainly loved the photo afterwards!

At all weddings, you must plan for rain. Before the day, or on your venue tours, it is worth having a few ideas in mind. The key is that there is good natural light and plenty of room to move about!

When I was 12, I was given my first camera for Christmas. I loved playing dress up and taking photos of my friends acting like supermodels. From then, I took my camera with me off to boarding school, where I fancied most of the boys rugby team, so would go to all their matches and take photos. One day, one of the parents had seen my photos and asked to buy a print, and so the idea flourished!
