What is your most memorable wedding?
Oh my.. which one to choose?!! I love luxurious and extravagant weddings - anything with millions of flowers and a little sparkle. But at the same time, simple, elegant black tie affairs are stunning. Oh and exciting themes like funfairs, country house rustic, pastel love.. nope sorry, can't choose just one!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
romantic, fun, engaging, stylised, personal
What about your business are you most proud of?
That I started it and made it on my own! being in business is super hard work (they never tell you about all the accounting and admin and that you have to be a pro in EVERYTHING!) I just want to take beautiful photographs that make people melt a little inside :)
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Give yourself enough time! It's so important that on the big day you aren't in a rush. Work backwards from your ceremony time and add extra time for everything - that way if one part runs late, you wont be pushed for time and have to rush through your photographs or ruin any activities or cocktail hours you may be having. Don't worry though, I have a great tip for doing this and will help you all the way :)
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We're pretty much going to become friends. I love weddings and get just as excited as you! We'll have met several times by the time the big day itself arrives and you'll be so used to me that you wont even notice your photograph is being taken!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Wow, tough one. At the moment I really am loving the First Look or the Secret Read. (More about those on our website)
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
To smile! I love rain in photographs! I love to backlight the shot and you'll be standing amidst beautiful glowing raindrops that look like stars or fire flies. Stunning, unique and your friends and family will be wowed!
Describe how you got into photography.
Photographing bunny rabbits when I was a child. My Dad used to take photography classes and as soon as I got a camera in my hand I was hooked!
