What is your most memorable wedding?
We recently had a Russian, Greek orthodox wedding. Some of the customs are absolutely bizarre including the groom having to drink shots of vodka from his future mother in-law's shoe. Whilst we didn't partake, we had an awesome day and captured some incredible memories for a beautiful couple.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Fine Art, documentary, classic, beautiful, memorable
What about your business are you most proud of?
We handpick all of our gifts, products, and specialty photo and wall art. We take great care to provide the highest quality for you on your special day.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Spend out on your photography. Don't go for a lower budget. After the cake is eaten and the flowers have wilted, this is the only way to remember your day in its entirety.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Wooden engraved Welsh love spoons - oh and Welsh Cakes!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
From your first meeting to the engagement shoot trial to the first viewing of your images, we take pride in your experience. We know you're going to love it but we don't want to give too much away!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
The Kiss.... obviously! - oh and Sparklers .... gotta love some sparklers!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
How about a groom being asked to drink Vodka from his future Mother-in-Law's shoe? Apparently, it's an old Russian custom.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Big, see through umbrella. Lots of coloured parasols and possibly a raincoat?
Describe how you got into photography.
I wanted to take better pictures of my children and picked up a camera after seeing school photos of them and deciding that "I could do better". I photographed a few friends weddings and now over 12 years on and over 100 weddings later I know I made the right decision.
