What is your most memorable wedding?
I photographed a wedding in which the groom was a professional wrestler. Immediately after the ceremony he disappeared and 10 minutes later returned dressed in his wrestling costume which he wore for all of the photos!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Relaxed stylish fun unobtrusive friendly
What about your business are you most proud of?
My work ethic - I will work absolutely tirelessly for you to ensure that I do a great job and you get all the memories of your big day.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Shop around with different suppliers and not only like their work but also them as a person. Afterall, they are going to be part of your wedding day!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A cross section of a tree used as a cake stand with the couples initials and wedding date bunt into it. Doesn't sound that fancy but looked great!
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Initially I would have a chat over the phone where they can ask me as many questions as they wish and I will also ask questions such as the date, location of the wedding and if they have a preferred style of photography. If they would like to meet then I will arrange a face to face meeting and show them more of my work.
Should the clients decide to use me I would go through a signed agreement with them and get all the information I need. Before the wedding I would visit the venue/s and ask the couple for a list of any formal/group shots they would like after the ceremony. On the day I would snap away as agreed and also get all the shots from the list provided.
Following on from the wedding I would edit the images and deliver them on a lovely USB to the clients personally or by special delivery.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Transparent umbrellas can be used to great effect as can bright multicoloured umbrellas which will give some very vibrant photos!
Describe how you got into photography.
For as long as I can remember I have enjoyed taking photos of anything and everything, my Dad gave me my first camera when I was about 8 years old. As I grew up I continued to snap away and since then I have found that photography people is where I produce my best images and enjoy this subject the most. I have completed a diploma in photography and joined the Society of Wedding and Portrait Photographers.
