FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

i had a wedding where a dog and sheep were wedding guests, then we took couples images with cows.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

editorial, documentary, creative, relaxed, reflective

What about your business are you most proud of?

the bonds i make with people from getting to be a part of their special day

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

I would not ask too many people for their opinions, take a moment and think if your booking something if it will make you happy on the big day.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Ihad a wedding where the brides father had passed shortly before so when it came to the dance time, the bride began by dancing with uncle, then uncle, brother, brother, brother and finishing with her mum ... it was very emotional..... then of course the groom.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

once i have an enquiry i will respond with any information asked for, then i like to have a zoom call or meet up if possible... a contract is sent out and once booked ( only once deposit is received is it confirmed and booked) i send out a photoplan list for them to take a look at and consider what group shots etc they would like to gather from the day. I make recommendations about the day too.. Then hopefully wedding couple will make the most and add the prewedding shoot to the package as i absolutely love these and the wedding couple always end up having the best time. nearer teh wedding date i will get in touch to check if plans are going well if there are any changes to anything... then it comes to the WEDDING DAY , where it all happens, after the wedding day i aim to send 30 edited digital images over for the couple to see within 72 hours. Full galleries will be ready within 6-8 weeks.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

a couples image in a field with their cows

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

transparent brollies, possibly wellies/ boots if wanting outdoor images ( which i love).. otherwise we find locations within the venue or sheltered.

Describe how you got into photography.

i have always loved taking photos of family, friends etc and got asked repeatedly to take photos for people so eventually decided to go for it properly. The best decision ever
