Mark Swaroop Full Description
My journey as a wedding photographer has taken me to the most surreal venues from Rajasthan all the way down to Kerala, from Mombassa, Kenya to the heart of Virginia, USA. I’ve been a witness to such beautiful moments in small marriage halls, as well as grand palaces. But regardless of venue, it’s the people that I’ve come to cherish. I’ve made some fans out of clients, some believers out of Thomas‘ and mostly friends for life. Being part of someone’s big day is a special thing. Thank you for getting in touch with me. This is an investment. Im also glad you are willing to spend on your photography. After everyone has eaten the make up has worn out, the beautiful decoration has come down and the band has packed up, memories remain via your wedding photos. So it definitely is an investment. Thank you for being bold enough to consider it. fb : https://www.facebook.com/markswaroopphotography insta : https://www.instagram.com/markswaroop/ mobile: UK: +44 7400 661089

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

There was a wedding at a temple once were the couple seemed to have eloped. I was the only other person other than the priest. Apart from shooting them I had to bless them, throw rice on them and eventually had breakfast with them before I left.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

True, Spontaneous, Unforced, Uninhibited, Pure

What about your business are you most proud of?

That I make sure that shoot for myself as well as my clients. That is the key to good quality.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Plan all you want and as hard as you can. But when it comes to your day - whatever happens, happens. Enjoy it.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I would love to meet the couple. If I cant at least Skype with them. By the time the big day arrives I want to be a known face and hopefully that camera disappears and the couple can be themselves.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

One with parent. It goes a long way. Your kids will cherish those family photos

Describe how you got into photography.

Long story but here goes - I fell in to it. I was an Art Director at a magazine and was surrounded by great, award winning photographers. It inspired me to buy a camera. It just happened to be a year that 6 of my friends got married. One of them became a wedding planner. They showed a few couples my photos and then it snowballed to the extent that I had to quit my job to do this full time.
