Think about the groups that would mean the most to you on the day and then expand around that. I usually send a typical list to help.
On the day, relax and enjoy, the photographer will guide you through.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A polaroid, the guests could use it to photograph themselves and others. Everyone gets involved in creating memories, that was the best.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
I like to have an initial chat over coffee with a couple, get to know them a little and make sure what I offer is a right fit for them. Then I help them plan the photography for their Wedding and 4 to 6 weeks before the big day I'll recce their venue with them, discuss the running of the day and do some casual practice shots (included in my fees) to help the couple feel at ease for the day. It's always a good laugh!
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Always have a few moments to yourselves to take in the day, have a laugh, cry, smile, feel giddy with excitement... those are often my best shots!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
The most original photo... is one of the groom and groomsmen's socks! They were all a character from the Avengers.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace the rain! An umbrella makes for a brilliant photo prop!
