What is your most memorable wedding?
I shoot for some really amazing couples but my favourite venue location to date has definitely been Electric Cinema in Birmingham. That was pretty special.
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Relaxed, Creative, Artistic, Fun, Heatfelt
What about your business are you most proud of?
I love that I have been able to connect with couples who are very much like me.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Try not to worry, it will all be wonderful. There is a lot of pressure on couples to throw the best party these days but as long as you guys are happy and having the wedding that YOU want, that is all that matters.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
Oh gosh so many....I think my favourite is seeing a bride who had made the love letters that her wife had sent to her into a pair of shoes that she wore on the day.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Normally a couple will email via my website. We will chat through their plans either via email, via skype or in person if they are local. Once they have made the decision to book, I send booking forms through via email. From that point on, I eagerly follow their updates on instagram and getting increasingly excited about their wedding. A month before the wedding, I book some time with them again to go through the day in detail. I shoot the wedding and have a marvellous time. I then aim to deliver images within 6 weeks.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Hmm that's a tough one. I think it should be an image of them completely in love, completely in the moment, not caring about anyone else but each other.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
It's rare that i'm asked to take specific shots but i've occasionally had couples wanting to replicate a photo taken at their parents wedding if its happening in the same location.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Embrace whatever weather you end up with!
