FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Manor by the lake in 2018 beautiful venue beautiful photo opportunities and wonderful and helpful staff to work with and an absolutely lovely couple

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Story telling, natural, clear, detailed and fun

What about your business are you most proud of?

I built it myself from nothing from scratch when I was 17 a lot of people didn't have faith in me and now its my full time job. It's been a bumpy road but totally worth it to live my dream.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Tip for photography for you and the photographer to make it less stressful for both write a list of up to 30 must have shots on your wedding day.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I really loved a Harry Potter themed wedding I attended absolutely every detail had been thought out even down to the bride arriving in an old blue ford Anglia (unfortunately not flying).

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Meet and have an informal chat and coffee, organise an engagement photoshoot, give them a brochure or email over a PDF copy if they want to book there is a £50 deposit to be taken the final balance can be paid as an when but the total must be paid 2 weeks before the wedding and I will send them away with a questionnaire so I can get to know them and their families a little better and also a checklist where I would ask them to write up to 30 must get shots for the day and ask them to send it back to me at least a month before the wedding.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

The kiss is the must have but I always love it when I can work with a second shooter so as well as getting the bride walking down the isle with the person giving her away you can capture the groom's reaction to seeing his bride. Getting a Dad and / or a bridesmaid reaction is also a lovely photo too.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

The bride was a body builder and she wanted a photo of her lifting her new husband over her head (if I wasn't the photographer I would have probably closed my eyes out of fear of injury but all was fine and very fun)

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

I always have a white umbrella because it's the last thing couples tend to think of but if it is windy as well make used of inside your beautiful venue whether that's the ceremony or reception venue whichever the couple would prefer.

Describe how you got into photography.

I just started doing it as a hobby as a child I loved taking wildlife photos (still do to this day) and my interest just grew from there until I got my BA Hons Degree in the art of photography.
