What is your most memorable wedding?
I did video for a lovely Eco-Conscious couple at Glebe Farm Barns. What stood out was how much laughter everyone had on the day. The groom was comedian-level hilarious as was his brother who did the funniest speech I've had the pleasure of hearing. The Bride was just the sweetest and you could they just adored each other. They were also incredibly appreciative and loved my work. That really stands out.

What about your business are you most proud of?
That it's my own, that I'm building while also being the primary care giver of my 5 month old son, that I'm showing him to follow your dreams even when it's hard. That the end result is happy couples who have made a beautiful commitment to one another.

Use organisational tools online so you can relax as much as possible :)
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
A couples planting a tree to commemorate their day which will then grow with them.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
They see my website and hopefully think "F*ck Yeah"
Fill in the form
I email them and we arrange a call.
We get on like a house on fire and it's still a "F*ck Yeah"
I send over contract, invoice and questionnaire
We arrange a Free Pre-wedding shoot
We do the shoot and they love it (Obviously!)
We chat a month before to confirm everything, timings etc
Then the big day comes
Couple wakes up to some previews which they love
Then full album is with them on pic-time in the coming days

An outdoor kiss shot with flash back lit rain!

Describe how you got into photography.
I read an article once called "Screw looking for your passion, you probably already do it" by Mark Manson
And I had a lightbulb moment! I'd been taking photos for years and was always the guy taking photos in my social circles. So I saved and got myself the Sony a6000 (which was stolen in Borneo but that's a story for another time) and was happy taking photos of what I love - Nature. Then a friend asked me to take photos of her wedding and I said yes as favour but didn't think i'd like it...but I ended up loving it. I was still able to take natural photos but just at a beautiful joyous event, I got free food and drink and I realised it was the career I wanted - What isn't to love?
