I recommend bringing clear or plain umbrellas, and don't be worried about the photos as rainy day wedding photos are the best.

I discovered photography by accident, my father in law is a keen amateur photographer and I wanted to see what it was about photography that held his interest. I bought my first DSLR and became hooked. I particularly enjoyed taking photos of my own children and documenting their early years and soon found that portraits were more my thing. 

I'm a real people person and I loved being able to connect with people and tell their stories through my eyes. Weddings are all about reading people and situations and being able to anticipate moments and how best to capture. Over time I developed a skill for documentary wedding photography and I later trained on honing my portrait photography to my current. 

I now shoot a mixture of both editorial style and documentary.

I Deliver a set of sneak peeks the day after the wedding. This always goes down well, as it allows couples to very quickly share photos from their day with friends and family or via social media.

I’ve never done the hard sell. If you like my work and feel ready to book, securing your date is simple. I take a deposit to lock everything in, with the remaining balance due six weeks before your wedding day. Everything can be handled easily over email or WhatsApp. If you’d prefer to chat things through before committing, I’m always happy to set up a video call to talk about your plans, photography needs, and vision for the day.

I always deliver your full wedding gallery within 4–6 weeks. I take great care in editing every image so your photos feel timeless, natural, and true to the day, while still making sure you’re not left waiting too long to relive it all.

I’m very down to earth and relaxed in the way I work. I believe there’s a fine line between taking the time needed to create beautiful photos and allowing you to fully enjoy your wedding day. Your day is all about you, not the photography, so I work efficiently and unobtrusively, capturing genuine moments while keeping things easy, natural, and stress-free.

I take image security very seriously. On a wedding day, I carry four cameras and multiple lenses so I’m always fully prepared. Each camera has dual SD card slots, recording to one card and backing up to another simultaneously. Once I’m home, your images are immediately transferred to two separate hard drives, ensuring multiple copies of your wedding photos are safely stored.

In the very unlikely event that I’m unable to attend, I have a large network of trusted, professional photographers I can call on to step in. I would always make sure you’re looked after and that your wedding day is covered by someone I trust to deliver to the same standard of care and quality.
