Are you looking for a relaxed and primarily candid approach to your wedding photo's? Just wanting some stunning images to remember the day by without the fuss? Someone who can make you feel at ease and create a beautiful, bright and warm gallery that tells the story of your day?
You have come to the right place. Hi, name is Alice of Fraser Photography based in Linlithgow.
I am all about capturing the real, genuine moment's that matter to you the most. Your wedding photos should be as unique and awesome as you are. My approach is unobtrusive, relaxed and like a pal with a camera. A nice balance of documentary & Candid photography. - The majority of your gallery with me will be candid, telling the story of your day as it unfolds with some easy direction for your portraits. If you are a couple who don't take life too seriously and are all about having a relaxed and beautiful day with the ones you both love the most, let's chat!
In a way they are all memorable in their own way. I never take for granted the importance of a wedding day no matter how many I do. The one that will always stand out though is my very first one that I did. I did this for free to gain experience and the couple, vicar and family were all just fantastic. I was so terrified but they were so kind and welcoming and I honestly can't thank them enough for taking a chance on me when I first started out.
Relaxed, Fun, Creative, Candid, Colourful
Feedback from clients telling me they felt comfortable and able to be themselves. Not under pressure to pose and how that made them feel so relaxed on the day. Even the most camera shy couples. I am immensely proud of that.
To do whatever you and your partner want to do. Not what keeps others (family) happy. It is a once in a lifetime deal -even if it's not your first rodeo, it is just as special. Do it your way and most importantly - Enjoy the process. It will be over so fast & those wedding blues are real. Also book a great photographer.. of course. Photo's are all you have left of your day. These images will likely seen by many generations of your family. They are so Important so invest wisely in someone who really cares as much as you do.
Instead of flower girls, Flower Grannys. The cutest thing in the world and the most lovely way to include grans who mean so much to couple's. Beer boys is a close second .
INFORMAL CHAT-->BOOKING (£100 BOOKING FEE & CONTRACT) --> PRE WEDDING MEETING 3-4 WEEKS OUT --> THE BIG DAY.
After I get an initial enquiry through my website or bride book, I have a wee informal chat with the couple to see if I am the right fit for them and hear more about their plans and day. ( I try not to babble on too long but I do love hearing all your plans it makes me excited haha )
If everyone is happy I take a £100 booking fee (deductible from final balance) and a signed contract to secure the date and that is them in the diary. Easy
I am always on hand up until the wedding day to offer advice and recommendations if needed too. Don't be a stranger.
3-4 weeks before their date I arrange to meet in person if local or via zoom and go over timings/ group lists and the specifics of the day. I then check in the day before the wedding. After the wedding sneak peeks are delivered within a week but often it's the next day. then gallery time is within 6-8 weeks
Confetti! So much fun. Also one with any grandparents we are blessed to have around.
**Not suitable for public publication haha.
White or clear umbrellas, A sense of humour and trust in the process. Some of the most gorgeous photos I have are of an amazing couple literally dancing in the rain. When I say rain I mean a downpour. Of course, an hour later ( glorious sunshine) but this is Scotland. My advice is to embrace the weather and if you are overly worried about getting wet then choose your venue wisely so there are options for getting nice photos inside. Lots of people choose their venue for the view or photo ops outside so this is a massive factor to keep in mind. Dresses can be dry cleaned and make up can be re applied but your wedding can't be recreated :)
I have always loved photography. I decided after having my little boy to pursue it professionally and try and do something I loved- Life is too short to not take chances and I have been incredibly lucky to have had some amazing clients and fellow photographers guide me along the way.
I am completely self taught and I have invested so much energy into this passion of mine and I am now lucky enough to call it my full time job.
