Hi, I’m Elaine and I’m a South West Wales wedding photographer based near Swansea. My approach is unobtrusive and focuses on unposed moments while seeking out great light, textures, and rich hints of colour. I adore photographing beautiful, contemporary natural weddings for modern and stylish couples. Documenting your special day as it happened is my jam; The quiet moments and the chaotic ones, the tears and the laughter, wild oversized bouquets and wilder confetti throws.

Consider your timings carefully to ensure you have enough time on the day to enjoy it and spend time with family and friends.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
When a couple first gets in touch, I'll work with them to ensure the package is the right fit. It's also super important to me that I'm right for them! The best photographs happen when I've build a relationship with the couple before their wedding day, rather than turning up like a stranger. So in the months before the wedding we'll stay in touch over emails, or grab a coffee if local.
What is the No.1 photo that you think every couple should take?
Every couple should prioritise candid, natural photographs. I'm told so often that couples don't like having their photograph taken, or always look awful. I find that by keeping things relaxed couples are more at ease and soon relax into what feels natural for them.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
don't worry about it! We can't control the weather so we'll deal with it on the day. It's always good to have some nice wedding brollies on standby just incase.
