She makes you feel completely at ease her professionalism and eye for detail is beyond amazing ! I’ve had a family shoot & pre wedding shoot and my wedding day has been photographed too ! We got preview photos before our night had ended and our full gallery was back in very good time, every part of our wedding day was captured and covered beautifully and authentically. My wife found Clare on Instagram before I'd even proposed to her, and we both fell in love with the editing style - the vibrant colours, the natural feel, we had a pretty good idea that she'd be the person we wanted to book. They say "don't meet your heroes", but the day we met Clare for the first time at our pre-wedding photoshoot at Gummers How, we laughed until our stomach's ached. She's got this incredible knack of convincing you she's known you for at least a decade, and you're besties, and so you can relax. You can be silly. You can have fun. So much fun that you forget she's even holding a camera, and next thing you know she's taken some fantastic pictures. On our wedding day, I wanted to take as many lads as I could and run into Grasmere at 07:45 on a cold November Morning. I mentioned this to Clare, and instead of saying "Well that's nice - but I'm only booked between these hours so I'll see you afterwards", her eyes lit up and the first thing she asked was "Oh my god, can I come?!" After getting soaked in the rain taking pictures of us all, she dried off, had some breakfast, and captured our day perfectly. She got incredible candid pictures of us and our friends and family. She had spare confetti on hand so that when the wind whipped ours away, she could provide us with more to get just the shot she wanted. She took to the dance floor during the evening do and could easily have been mistaken for a guest if you weren't aware she was a supplier. If you don't like getting in front of a camera - book Clare. Clare did absolutely exceptional work photographing our wedding, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better photographer. From the very beginning, she was completely at ease working around the language barrier with my in-laws, which meant so much to us and immediately put everyone at ease. We chose an elopement package for our very small, non-traditional wedding, and Clare went above and beyond to make it feel just as special and thoughtfully documented as a larger celebration. With just the two of us, she captured some truly breathtaking shots, and when we mentioned that we wouldn’t be having a typical disco-style reception, she worked creatively with us to capture the most beautiful outdoor dancing photos instead. Her adaptability and enthusiasm made all the difference. Having Clare with us on the day was an absolute joy. She is highly professional while also bringing such a warm, open, and genuinely friendly presence. She has a wonderful way of making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable, and she effortlessly gets real laughter and natural moments in her photos. Clare is an all round fab human, incredible at what she does and is up front with everything. She has her own signature style which is hard to find, I knew what I wanted and was so incredibly grateful when I came across Clare. Claire photographed our elopement in the Lake District at Cote How in 2024 and she totally captured the mood and my vision for the day. Claire is laid back, funny but works incredibly hard to ensure you’re happy with the end result. Throughout the hours we spent together, I almost forgot Claire was our photographer. I didn’t feel like the camera was on us! Claire also put together a beautiful short video to capture some of the key points of our day. It was absolutely beautiful and a real tear jerker. We clicked with Claire at our first meeting and from then on she was AMAZING, we had a relaxed pre wedding shoot then it was onto the BIG day, Claire was incredibly kind and concise from start to finish she arrived very early (before I had even got back from hair appointment) and from then on was not just a photographer but felt like she was part of the wedding as a guest, she helped with my dress took us off got some just the two of us photos after the church and in the evening ended up on the rugby pitch doing some sort of weight challenge, she fun, kind and always up for anything! I wouldn’t have had anyone else photograph our day! Oh and she even took my dad home in the evening! Absolute superstar!
