Rhea is an amazing photographer.
After meeting her at a wedding fair, we knew she was the right choice for us. She and Jony (second shooter) made us feel so relaxed and we had a great time getting our photos taken on our big day. She even captured the most beautiful photos with out cockapoo who was our ring bearer. Nothing is too much hassle and she gives great advice/help/recommendations regarding any aspects of wedding planning. We also recently recieved our wedding album which is stunning! Not only did she capture amazing moments with her work that we can treasure forever but on the day she does really become that 3rd bridesmaids and help in that morning prep and made sure we were all running on time. We knew she was the photographer for us
When we first spoke to Rhea on a zoom call we knew she was the photographer for us, my husband does not like getting his photo taken and she along with Jony as her second put him at ease, this is evident in not just the candid photos but the more posed ones also. We had so many compliments through out the day and after about how brilliant our photographers were, they really did feel like they were just part of our bridal party and were so much fun! I’d read that Rhea is like an extra bridesmaid, that is more than true.
I’m not even sure how to word how happy we are with not just the photos we have from the day but for how Rhea was on the day. I had dreaded pictures and feeling awkward, it didn’t even cross my mind on the day to feel like that - everything was made to be so easy and relaxed. I’ve had numerous wedding guests comment on how amazing you were - they were all delighted it wasn’t like weddings they’d been to before where they pose for numerous stuffy pictures - all the pictures are candid, vibrant and fun. I’d read that Rhea is like an extra bridesmaid, that is more than true. You fixed my dress, sorted bridesmaid dresses, kept me fed, glass in hand and were described as a ninja on more than one occasion where you’d pop in take a picture and disappear without anyone noticing, and these are our favourite pictures! We also have pictures of all of the babies, children and dogs who were around on the day - it captured them all beautifully and I can’t wait to share these with their parents for their own special keep sake from the day. What is your most memorable wedding?

I couldn't pick just one, every wedding is different. It's the couple who really make it for me. Those who are laid back, up for a laugh and an adventure, make for the most memorable ones.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Adventurous, rustic, relaxed, romantic, personal

What about your business are you most proud of?

That couples don't just choose me for my photos but because of my personality.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Always allow for at least two hours between your ceremony ending and your call to dinner - the day will fly by!

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

The bride wrote a poem for each guest and used the envelope, with their name on it as their place setting for dinner.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

When an enquiry comes in, I will reply, usually within 24 hours, to advise of my availability, give a link to my package option on my website and offer a link to book in for a video call at a day and time that suits. On the call we will chat through all your plans and I will tell you about me. If you would like to go ahead I email over a booking form, contract and invoice for the booking fee. We will keep in touch during the planning stages and would chat again around one month before the wedding, this is also when the final balance is due, to go through all the timings for the day and any group shots.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?

A handful, I usually recommend up to 10 combinations, of family groups. It is not often everyone is together and looking so smart.

What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?

A double dad reveal - two brides did a first look to each other ahead of their ceremony and then they revealed their final look to each of their dad's. Not a dry eye in sight!

What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?

Wellies, an umbrella and a "let's do this" attitude!

Describe how you got into photography.

After graduating in 2008, I went on to work in Marketing for five years in oil and gas. During that time I met a photographer at a wedding I was a guest at and started helping them out. Photography was a new hobby for me at the time. In 2014 I went to work for them full time and in 2017 I went self employed and have never looked back.
