What is your most memorable wedding?
We get to go a huge amount of very special venues and usually 'behind the curtain' access. One assignment we got talking to the venue caretaker who give us full access to Liverpool Town Hall roof! The views were stunning and the couple were very happy with the photographs as a result.

What about your business are you most proud of?
The shear number of thank you cards, wishes and feedback that comes to us following a shoot. It is an honor to be chosen to photograph someones wedding day and we get great enjoyment from it.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
On the day make sure you take time to stand back, take in and enjoy your day. There will be so much going on it will feel like it is flying by!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One wedding shoot the bride made table decorations by using the pages of the books read to her as a little girl by her mother. Her mother had sadly passed away so the bride made flower decorations from the books as a memory.

What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I think the photograph just after the ceremony is usually the best, it is mixed with a lot of emotion... happiness, joy and relief the hard bit is over!
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
I love photographs that paint a picture of the emotion in that moment. The best picture was of a bride deep in thought of the day ahead but shot totally in the moment, from the shadows and through the chaos of bridal prep.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
We always plan for good weather and not so good weather, this is why it is so important to scope out the venues for a Plan B. We advise to attend the planning session with us on location so we can talk about alternatives to being outside. We have never found this a problem come rain or shine!
Describe how you got into photography.
I picked up my fathers film camera when I was 10 and haven't looked back, this has taken me through study, travel and now work. It is something I am very passionate about. I think anyone can generally take a photograph, only a few people have an eye for capturing a moment however and turning it into a memory.
