What is your most memorable wedding?
Oh Gosh that is a difficult questions - Have to do moments rather than just one wedding - the day when a snow blizzard arrived in the middle of the wedding and it felt like a scene from Nanny McFee. The moment a terminally ill mother of the bride got out of the car and her elderly mother grabbed her by the face, and kissed her, knowing it was one of the last days they would celebrate together. The day a groom had his photograph taken for the first time since age 2. The look on his parents face as they got a family photograph taken for the first time in their adult lives - even more special as the Father passed within the month. The moments we capture and create are more priceless than we can ever imagine at the itme.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Enjoy the planning. It is as much part of the day as the day itself. As an EFT specialist in weddings, if you get anxious or stressed, email me for a wedding tapping brochure to calm yourself and enjoy it all.
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One couple had us photograph each couple, print the images, frame and box them as a gift as each couple left for the evening.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
Couple contacts us for details and pricing, we send through brochure with information and offer a meeting, zoom call, or any questions via email. Most of our couples already know our work and just want to book and meet up later. We send through digital booking form and couple pays deposit of £20 via bank transfer. We meet up 4 weeks before the wedding for full final preparations. If it is not easy to come to the studio we do this over zoom. It is essential for us to have this meeting so that the day runs smoothly. We shoot for our couples style and personality and it is important we connect prior to the day.
What is the No. 1 photo that you think every couple should take?
I love a group photograph of everyone. It is my favourite photograph from my mums wedding album. Now 85% of the people have passed on, it is such a piece of history.
What is the most original photo you’ve been asked to take at a wedding?
One couple left the reception in a hot air balloon one summers evening and asked us to return for the take off.
What do you recommend for a rainy day wedding?
Do not worry about this. Make sure your photographer brings lights and equipment to be creative indoors on such occassions. The greatest images I have taken have been on a wet day. Your photographer has to tap into their creativity in difficult situations and that is when you create the wow images that you would not expect.
Describe how you got into photography.
Aged 9 I was given a camera from Santa Claus. I got the bug. Was in camera clubs for years and then was asked to shoot my cousins wedding. When the album was designed, I got 20 wedding bookings within a week. Taaa daa - new venture created.
