Phil is a charismatic singer, guitarist and entertainer. He has been performing on stage for many years performing over 200 shows a year and has performed all over the world including USA and venues throughout Europe. A seasoned wedding singer and guitarist for 100's of happy couples with a determination to provide the best entertainment available. With a unique, powerful & soulful voice, Phil performs a mixture of beautiful aisle songs, and 'acoustic live lounge' incorporating a looping machine building big soundscapes from the ground up - live; creating an atmosphere that can't be matched. On top of all this his evening entertainment party band has to be seen to be believed! Phil plays with a unique looping technique that makes a song come alive! Soulful tracks for your ceremony then launching into beatboxing, harmonies and ripping guitar solos all with one guitar, a microphone and zero backing tracks to entertain your guests during drinks. Complement the day with Phil's professional dance floor filling band for a spectacular evening party!

Phil was absolutely incredible at our wedding,

Phil was absolutely incredible at our wedding, and made our evening reception an experience we'll never forget! One of the most important things to us was a packed dancefloor, which Phil and New Heroes made sure of. We had so many comments from guests saying how much they enjoyed the band - they were brilliant from start to finish. Aside from the music, Phil is incredibly professional and responsive. When our original wedding date(s) were delayed because of the pandemic, Phil was really supportive and accommodating for the new dates. We consider ourselves very fortunate to have found him as a supplier - his professionalism meant it was one less thing for us to stress about. In short, we wouldn't have any hesitation recommending Phil and his band to anyone, for any gig or event.

He was perfect. So many compliments.

Phil played @ our wedding on 13/11/2021 Colehayes Park. We had a few hiccups on the day of the wedding and in the words of my husband, i felt i could relax once Phil arrived as he was able to reassure him registrars running late was normal and just because of his laid back calming demeanour. Phil played solo acoustic for the ceremony and welcome drinks. He then was joined by a drummer for the evening and rocked the night away. He was perfect. So many compliments. Its not easy finding suppliers when you live 200 miles away but we managed to hit the jackpot. Forever grateful for the part you played in our day. Thank you

Having performed all day services 100's of times for couples I am proud of the fact that I can provide a calm and reassuring service where everything is taken care of and through experience can help make for a smooth running order where all the worry is taken away

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

You only do it once so book the band, book the singer, really go for it and you can create the most wonderful memories and the soundtrack to remember forever

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

Table cards with pictures of the bride and groom and different fun facts about the relationship, how they met, what’s their favourite thing, their most awkward moment… You saw a lot of people walking to other tables to read the different fun facts.

Describe your typical process with a couple.

I like a pre wedding meet up to discuss the running order of the day, special song requests and get a feel of how the couple are an get to know them a little better.

What makes a romantic first dance?

A song which has a real connection to the couple. I've seen and sang slow beautiful songs and also up tempo dancey songs where the couple had a huge smile and danced like crazy. These moments are always special

You hear Queen, you're on the dancefloor

The Beatles changed my life
