Perfect wedding music
I have met Louise many times at wedding fairs and at venues when I'm setting up a wedding cake. I love to hear her play, especially the modern song which sound so different, but still amazing on her harp. Highly recommend!

Always A Pleasure!
It’s always a pleasure having Louise playing at our weddings! She’s always very punctual and a real joy to have around, helping to make our couples day that little bit more special! Louise always goes out of her way to learn specific songs at our couples request! I would highly recommend!

louise made our day complete!
We booked louise for our wedding on the 5th august. She was helpful in aiding in our song choice and what piece would be suitable for each part of our ceremony. The performance was beautifully flawless and highly professional. She sorted out everything to coincide with the bell ringers so that I had one less thing to worry about and I cannot recommend her enough. We don't have our photos back yet so have uploaded on of my husband and I.

Really helped make our special day more memorable
Louise was the harpist at our wedding, and she was excellent, as well as being a pleasure to deal with. At our meeting, she helped us to pick pieces we loved for the bridal entry and leaving the ceremony, as well as taking two pieces we really wanted and working out a medley for the signing of the register. This helped make our special day more personal, and quite a few of our guests commented on it. Louise was terrific and we'd highly recommend her.

Our Wedding Day
We booked Louise for our Wedding Day, To which from the very start she played a great variety of music that completely appealed to our guest both from the age of 10 who wanted to hear over the rainbow and Ed Shearan to a 90 year old that wanted classical music. She played her harp to the point it bought tears of joy to our guests eyes, And we hadn't even walked down the aisle. We had numerous guest come to us and comment how professional she was throughout the service. It didn't just stop there we also had Afternoon Tea to which she played throughout. This really did set the ambience for our afternoon. Louise Please don't ever stop what your doing you are pure talent. We would with out a doubt use you again. Thankyou...

Louise and her harp are amazing
Louise played the harp at our wedding in October 2017 at the old vicarage. Louise is a true professional and is a lovely person she helped us pick the songs for our day and offered to learn something new if we wanted a particular song that wasn't in her repertoire. The sound of the harp is something special and i would highly recommend Louise to play at any event.

FAQs
Find out a bit more from our FAQs

What is your most memorable wedding?

Probably an intimate wedding for 10 guests at The Old Vicarage Hotel in Southwell. I played for the ceremony, reception drinks and during the meal and it was beautifully intimate and romantic - the harp fitted absolutely perfectly and the guests really enjoyed listening. It was definitely a magical moment.

Describe your style in 5 adjectives.

Contemporary, atmospheric, emotive, beautiful, eclectic

What about your business are you most proud of?

I can arrange just about any piece of music for harp or piano, put my own unique stamp on it and make it sound beautiful. I'm also easy and flexible to work with and have an extremely professional attitude.

What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?

Plan and book your music well in advance if possible, and don't be afraid to talk about your musical interests, likes and dislikes as it helps to tailor the music to suit you and your guests and personalise your wedding or event.

What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?

I was asked to play the theme from 'Star Wars' for the bride's processional piece - it worked brilliantly for the bride's entrance and the guests loved it as well as the bride and groom!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

After completing a straight forward booking procedure, I provide couples with a repertoire list and invite them to arrange an appointment to discuss and choose their ceremony music if required.

What makes a romantic first dance?

This is very personal and I have a varied repertoire list, however Ed Sheeran is pretty popular at the moment.

What is your number one floor-filler?

I don't have 'floor fillers' as such because harp music is usually more for background or a wedding ceremony, however popular favourites are often well-known pop songs or songs from the shows.

Which band from the past would you most like to have been part of?

I would have loved to have played with the harp ensemble for 'Florence and the Machine' at the Brit Awards in 2010.

What is the soundtrack to your life?

'At Last' by Etta James
