DJ Dave B

We got married at the beginning of September and booked DJ Dave B for our reception party. We’re both quite particular about music and needed someone who would be comfortable covering a range of genres that may veer slightly off from mainstream, and having spoken with a few different DJs before confirming the booking, we felt confident in our decision. From our initial conversation, we could tell that he took his craft seriously and we felt that he took the most time to look through our playlist to get a proper understanding of the music that we wanted. He also came across as confident and professional, and was even happy to emcee the reception if required (though one of our groomsmen took this role). On the day itself DJ Dave B really delivered. Our venue had a sound limiter and after an initial tripping during the first track of the party, he responded immediately and carefully found a good balance between the music and keeping the sound limiters happy, to the extent that we didn’t even notice a difference in quality or volume (one might think a soundcheck beforehand might have avoided this hiccup, however unless you are able to simulate the complete room layout with guests on the dancefloor for it, the acoustics will be different to the actual thing). The dance floor was busy from start to finish with people wanting more right to the end. He included such a great range of songs, catering for all ages (it was lovely to see 4 year olds enjoying themselves just as much as 70+ year olds and everyone in between!) There is no doubt that DJ Dave B is an amazing DJ and although our wedding is over we would love to go to one of his regular events. We completely recommend him as a wedding DJ and hope it’s not the last time we encounter him!

Dave was fantastic for our wedding! He knew what the crowd wanted and everyone loved his song choices! Dave kept in good communication with us and understood the vibe we wanted and added our must-have songs. He was on time and a true professional and I can't recommend him enough. The venue had sound limitations which he kept an eye on and ensured a successful night.

Ok so firstly DJ Dave was recommended through a friend who hired his services for their wedding. From the initial conversation with Dave he was humble, reassuring and extremely professional. It’s so amazing to meet someone who knows exactly the vibe and levels you are looking for. Everything we could think of or that we did not think of he had under control or a plan for. Our late meeting before the wedding was all reassuring. On the day itself, Dj Dave was there in good time to assess the venue well and set up perfectly. And speaking of set up, his was on a different level and also looked professional to the T. Dave worked well with our MC and also held the mic when needed to help break the silences. And off course the party section at the end made the entire wedding party and guests get on their feet to all the tunes we get down to. You name it, he dropped it. And not just dropped it, he let them play till we had enough as we requested. Absolutely happy with how the day went. Really grateful... Top professional, and great all round person. Dave recently DJ'd at our wedding and I can not recommend him enough, he was very responsive, and from the first contact he was so easy to work with. He took a few choices from us, but managed to coordinate the music perfectly to the moment. We asked him to work a few hours earlier for speeches and throughout the meal and he was happy to, he played beautiful acoustic music, so much so that my husband asked if I had sent the music to him, coming from a music obsessed man that is high praise. He was great with announcements and he kept the party going till the very end. Will 100% use him for future events, and recommend him to anyone! Thank you Dave for making our night perfect!

Dave is was an absolute pleasure to work with from the moment we made an enquiry. Dave was very accommodating to our very special request. On the day of the wedding, Dave was on time, very professional, polite, calm and was a joy to work with. Dave played an amazing set catering for various groups from all over the world. Dave knows how to read the crowd and keep the party going. A big shout out from bride’s mother who requested a special ‘dhol’ song - it made her night even special. A big thumbs up from all of our guests who thoroughly enjoyed the dance party. We booked Dave for our wedding on 23 August and he was absolutely fantastic from the second we made an enquiry. Incredibly responsive in the lead-up to the big day which put us instantly at ease. On the night, he was fantastic and professional throughout - keeping the dance floor filled from the moment he started playing! Made sure all our requests were played and catered for a broad range of guests we had in attendance to ensure there was something for everyone. Dave B was our wedding DJ and he was amazing, we couldn’t have asked for more!!!! He put us at ease before the big day, by meeting with us and also having calls to understand what we wanted on the day. Guests sent song requests in advance of the day and he even managed to work these into his set. He was professional, made sure that the lovely vibe that we had in the day was maintained into the evening and we received numerous compliments about the music.
