The band prides itself on the outstanding level of musicianship on offer. Featuring some of the UK’s top function singers, we provide a range of male and female vocalist options to complement our first-rate brass section. We also offer smaller acoustic groups for ceremonies, drinks receptions and dinners; DJs and playlists for late evening entertainment; and are committed to tailoring our act to every clients’ individual needs. Best decision ever!!

Great function band!

If you are looking for a 10-piece+ function band that will get the party started and everyone dancing - Charlie & The Funk Factory are the band for you! My wife and I are both musicians, so spent a lot of time picking the right band for our wedding and we couldn't be happier with our choice. Such great feedback from our guests too.

Absolutely fantastic band

Professional, fun and created a fantastic atmosphere. Charlie and the Funk Factory were such a treat and proved a great way to finish off an evening! Singers and band provided music throughout the day and matched the atmosphere we were trying to create perfectly (from ceremony piano, to evening boogie!). Can't recommend them highly enough!

'Everyone told us how great the music was'

We were so lucky to have Charlie and the Funk Factory at our wedding. From the outset it was great to deal with them, they were so accommodating with the music for our first dance and the arrangements for the day, and when Covid meant we had to postpone and we had to change everything there was no problem. Everyone told us how great the music was and the song list was just right. What was especially lovely was seeing that the band were having fun too and how much they enjoyed playing together.

'Honestly could not recommend these guys enough!'

After playing at my 21st party 7 years ago and seeing what a fantastic time everyone had, we knew we wanted people to just have a good ole dance at our wedding. What is your most memorable wedding?

We perform at so many incredible weddings and are always blown away by our amazing clients. One of our favourite moments recently was getting to recreate the "Love Actually" flash mob moment, where our brass players stood up one by one at the end of the ceremony, playing a rendition of "All You Need Is Love" by the Beatles.

Always add some extra time into each part of your day - things always take longer than you think (particularly moving guests from one place to another)!

Describe your typical process with a couple.

Throughout the whole process we are only ever a phone call or an email away so if you have any questions, please do get in touch! We are there with you from the initial consultation call all the way through to the wedding day itself.

What makes a romantic first dance?

Ultimately, your first dance is an opportunity for the pair of you to enjoy a perfect moment together, accompanied by a soundtrack you can relax and be yourselves to. You may already have ‘Your Song’ lined up; whether that’s literally “Your Song” by Elton John, "It Will Be (An Everlasting Love)" by Natalie Cole, or “Can’t Take My Eyes Off You” by Frankie Valli. Our advise is go with something that means something to you - there is no wrong answer!
