Platinum Disco are an amazing supplier. We had to rearrange our wedding day a few times due to COVID, but they were very accommodating and flexible. They provided music for our ceremony, background music for the wedding breakfast, and then the evening was on fire. The set up looked so good and the music was on point all evening. There were always people on the dance floor! They were also very organised and professional all the way through the planning to the day itself. Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

We booked Luke as the DJ for our wedding. From our initial meeting through to the wedding day, he was helpful and friendly and completely tailored the whole night to our tastes. In addition to our first dance, we were able to select specific songs for certain times plus our close family members could request in advance as well as on the night. We also ordered some up-lights, love letters and a magic mirror - all of which just added to the night. Luke was fantastic and communicative on the run up to the day and all our guests have raved about what a fantastic DJ he was. Would highly recommend him for any special occasion!

We had our dream wedding day and Luke from Platinum Disco and Entertainment played such a huge part in making the reception the most awesome night of our lives (no exaggeration!) I’ll try to summarise why and keep it as brief as I can. - We hired a venue in Mayfair, London with particular requirements that Luke easily dealt with. He is very professional with exceptionally high standards. - The resources used and the work that goes into compiling your playlist ensures the music will be exactly what you want. We had key songs at just the right moment and our dance floor was full all night. - The whole company, especially Luke, was just an absolute pleasure to work with. They were always responsive to queries, always open and honest. Extremely knowledgeable and fully invested in making our wedding reception the best it could be. I’ve done the research and my completely honest opinion is that if Platinum Disco and Entertainment are available for your wedding, then just book them!

We had our wedding day on 23rd July 2022 and Luke was amazing from start to finish. We had a few meetings beforehand to plan everything and he was so easy to work with, even assisting with our prep for a surprise guitar solo from the groom! Luke had the whole party on the dancefloor all evening, no one wanted to leave. We had a few issues with another supplier but we didn’t have a clue u til the following day as Luke took it upon himself to call some suppliers he knew and sorted everything out in the background, forever thankful! I can’t recommend Platinum Disco enough, we’ll definitely be using again for future upcoming events! In hindsight, if I’d booked Luke before other suppliers I would done all the extras directly through him so highly recommend to others looking. Thanks again Luke!

Luke was wonderful from the moment we first got in touch. Of Luke’s team, Wayne was selected by Luke to DJ our wedding and he really did pick the perfect man for the job - his mixing was so good, his song selections were perfect and he is such a top guy. We knew our wedding would be a great party but we really weren’t expecting the dancefloor to be completely full from the very first song to the last one. The room set up was absolutely great and whilst we initially wanted an LED dancefloor and would have paid more for this, Luke actually talked us out of this - we can’t thank him enough for talking us out of getting an LED dancefloor. That was absolutely brilliant advice as even if we’d have gone for the biggest one going, there was no way everyone would have managed to fit on it as Wayne ensured so many people were up dancing at all points of the night. We can’t speak highly enough of Luke and the team!

Luke was absolutely amazing from the very first interaction. We were looking for a non traditional party following our marriage and didn’t really know what we wanted. Initially we knew we wanted a DJ, but Platinum Disco is so much more than that - Luke has a huge variety of services that make a party and he was able to help us choose a package for a more than reasonable price. The ‘happily ever after sign’ was beautiful, the Photo Booth with additional post box function went down a treat - not only were the props great fun and we now have fun photos of all ours guests but we were also able to keep the cards safe. Luke arrived a day before to set everything up and again early on the day to lay out his beautiful white LED backdrop and DJ booth along with all the other additional items. Luke was without a doubt the reason a cricket club function room looked like a beautiful wedding party. Luke is ‘no fuss’ and listens to exactly what you want and gets on with it. He keeps in touch regularly and responds really quickly to emails and messages. He asks you to set a playlist which he follows but is also able to use his experience and initiative to see what the crowd is and play suitable songs. ALL of our guests (which was a mix of cheesy English song, soca Caribbean and r&b mainstream modern music lovers ALL loved Lukes music choices. We cannot thank you enough

Couldn't recommend more! From the initial booking process Luke called to talk through the day, what we were looking for in our DJ, went through the different options available etc. Very easy to book and plan, he took our playlist and made it his own in combination with the band we had playing 2 sets. Tune selection was absolutely spot on and varied exactly as we requested. His booth and set up with lights is fantastic, the sound was amazing as well. Compliments from everyone at the wedding on how good the music was all night long, he knows how to fill a dancefloor and keep it filled, and when your mum is dancing to jungle classics at the end of the night you know the DJ has smashed it! Brother in law booked him the very next day for his wedding and we look forward to seeing him play out again!!

Luke was absolutely amazing to work with from start to finish. First off, the day was very reasonably priced. He also contacted the venue directly to ask about the venue space so he could arrang the best possible setup for the wedding. He provided a form for us to fill out ahead of time where we could request particular songs. We also had a few last-minute requests about the dinner playlist and entrance music, which he accommodated perfectly. The music for the dancing portion of the evening was fantastic. Luke knew exactly how to read the room - we got lots of compliments on how fun it was to dance! He also did a great job emceeing for speeches and announcements. Highly recommend!!

The best DJ you will find in Hertfordshire!!!! Luke DJ’d at our wedding in April 2022, he arranges to have a meet/phone call with you prior to the date to collate information regarding preferences to what music you like and how you want uplighting done etc. He made sure that on the day the dance floor was filled, by doing this he read the floor and put on music that all generations would like and get up dancing to.I can say that everyone had the best time and at some point all danced, sung and enjoyed themselves! Luke always made sure that the guests were happy and especially us as the bride and groom. I (the bride) even got a little go on the decks, which was so fun! Aswell as making sure that we were all dancing and having fun, Luke will take photos and videos with consent on the day and will put together a cute video that summarises the day, which we LOVED!!!! I could not fault him, absolutely amazing!!! Goes above and beyond to make your day what you want and more. If ever in doubt of finding a DJ, look no further as Platinum Disco is the one! If ever I have another event and need a DJ, I will be back in contact with Luke and his team! Also very reasonably priced. We actually approached Luke on recommendation from a friend of his who we originally approached to be our DJ- and believe it was fate that this happened! From the outset of our conversations, to then booking and working through our playlist and on the day Luke was great. He was very friendly, put us hugely at ease with the worries we had about our wedding. We were having a super small wedding with probably around 35-40 in total for the evening, and we’re worried about the evening being a fail. Luke’s DJ skills kept the dance floor going all night long, and we did not want the night to end! He was flexible with last minute additions of extra dances (father & bride - groom & mother) and played all the songs from our online playlist and more! We agreed to allow recommendations from the guests which was a hit too. I know that if I need a DJ again in the future, Luke from Platinum disco is straight where I would go.
