What is your most memorable wedding?
Being asked to dress the groom's party on the day, as the Bride doesn't trust them, always makes for a memorable day!
Describe your style in 5 adjectives.
Traditional, Contemporary, Wacky, Relaxed, Fun
What about your business are you most proud of?
The quality of what we do.
What is your No. 1 wedding planning tip for couples?
Make sure that you have a contingency fund for your budget - with so much to think about, sometimes something small can escape you!
What is your favourite personal touch you have seen at a wedding?
One of our grooms had us make up silk cravats for his groomsmen - he had the wedding colour on one side, then a different colour on the other side so that they could wear them for different occasions.
Describe your typical process with a couple.
We start with a no-obligation consultation, which can take anything up to an hour and a half. This allows us to get to know the couple a bit, put the groom at ease (because we all know how much men like dressing up!), then we try a number of different outfits on the groom until he gets that "tingle." Once they have booked with us, we like to see everyone for their fittings around two months before the wedding, although that is two weeks for page boys! We find that this gives us the best balance of getting people with stable weights, while allowing us to make any alterations to the outfits that are needed.
What are your favourite wedding traditions for men?
We're a little old fashioned - we think that the first time that the Groom should see "The Dress" is when the Bride is standing next to him at the ceremony!
What is the best way to make the groomsmen stand out from the crowd?
Tails, every time!
Why is groomswear just as important as bridalwear?
Everyone knows that the bride is going to look like an absolute Princess - the Groom can not be standing next to her looking like a sack of spuds!
What is the most original outfit you have seen a groom wear?
A Full Highland Outfit, with Royal Blue "motorcycle" boots!
